im sick of hearing black people ramble on about how much disrespect their ancestors had to go through. how we shouldnt look down on them and make fun of them and s***. well heres a news flash! black people arent the only people who have gone through really bad times! ever hear of these people called jews? yeah, ever hear of the haulocaust? im sure you have. im sorry but the haulocaust was 1000 times worse than slavery. it just was. the haulocaust was one of the worlds darkest moments. slavery just a fad in a new country. so when i hear these black punk asses going "my people were your ancestors slaves boy! you treat us with respect! were free men and women now!" the entire time runningthrough the back of mind is what those poor jewish people went through in those camps. bodies broken in skeletal form, chambers full of people taking a "shower" and instead of getting sopping wet their skin turns black and blue and they fall over dead. endless hordes of jews shuffled in and out of train wearing nothing but loin cloths. im sorry but compared to the jews back then slaves had it good. sure they were chained and beaten, but so were jews. do you see jewish people running around germany "hey you mother f***er you killed my great great great grandfathers brother!" no, you dont, you just dont. because jewish people know how to get over stuff.
the bottom line is when some black guy starts telling me stories about how the blacks had it hard back then, im going to tell them to shut the f*** up because worse has happened in this world, and not all the jews were killed. same basic principal in both cases (governmental white people>ethnicity - most slave owners were weathly which gave them a higher voice in the government mind you...), only slaves were brought over to america by ship. im from up north anyway so why the hell am i being told to respect? my people faught for blacks damn freedom.
jewish people dont have places like the apollo, jewish people dont have gangs and rappers making songs about f***in bitches and shootin up schools, jewish people have LIVING family members who were THERE at the death camps, whereas black people dont have formerly enslaved relatives. im scottish but you sure as hell dont see me running around saying "you f***ing english a******s tried to enslave and kill my country!" the whole american chapter of slavery thing has been blown way out of proportion, and im god damned tired of hearing about it.

| Comparing Saddam to Hitler is like comparing oranges to rotten apples. Saddam wasn't trying to take over the world... he wasn't even trying to take over the whole middle east. North Korea runs a strict brutal ship, I don't see us over there trying to turn them into a democracy. In fact... KIM Il Sung taunts us at every chance he gets and we still don't do anything about it. I guess coal, lead and tungsten aren't very appetizing to politicians, unless they suddenly saw big dollars coming from steam engines, #2 pencils and throwing darts.

| rclimber, It is a shame that as someone claiming to be a constitutionalist, you lack even the most basic skills of thought and expression. Palastinians did not esist prior to Arafat. He developed them as a concept that now they seem to be a race if not a nationality of their own. I always find it interesting for a person to begin with "I'm not a jew hater, racist, homophobe etc, some of my best friends are (fill in the blank). Generally, that proves they are what they say they are not. And yes we came by ship, so did you. If you are so unhappy with America, why not take this opportunity to return to the country that you think you came from. Whatever that country might be, I 'm sure you will find that the simple freedom you have just exercised in posting your blog will surely be denied there. I would speak to the rest of your diatribe, but unfortunately, it makes so little sence, I can hardly understand what the hell you said. |

| are you 12 rclimber? i challenge you to a duel, swords at high noon, infront of the saloon of your choice, and on the day of your choice. and yes just because im scottish means im an alcoholic, but ive come to accept that. so its ok. im also part welsch too, would you mind ranting in all caps about welsch people also? i wont mind. stuff like that doesnt phase me like some people/religions/reaces/armies/cliques/gangs/bands/fish in the sea/brigades/organizations/cults/covens/whatevers O_o |

| I am a black female born and raised in America. I agree to some extent with your article but I also think that some of what you say is bull. Not all black Americans feel they way you say. Yes, I know about what happened to the jews during WWII and I think that they should be compensated for what they suffered at the hands of Hitler's regime. And here is the difference, Americans did not cause the jewish atrocities, the Germans did. You can not put all blacks in the same boat, some of us believe in making our way and not blaming others for our down falls or short comings. I am offended by some of the things that black rappers and others say and call it art and music. All people should be respected no matter what their race, religious conviction, ethnicity, and sexual orientation. If all people would stop pointing the finger at others then this world would be a better place to live. Life is about choices and we should all make better choices with our own lives and stop looking to others to make us better people or stop blaming others when we fall short of our goals. SLavery lasted longer, and some times blacks are still dealing with discrimination and racism. That is something I know first hand, most white skinned people do not experience racism nor discrimination. When you do, you will know what it feels like to be treated differently because of the color of your skin.

| It seems older articles are being resurrected with some frequency lately. At first I thought...HUH? But I see the value of it. Many of the "resurrectors" are folks that haven't posted here previously or lately. There are people who have joined the site since they were orginally posted and now get to post a comment, and sometimes the older articles get new life and even spawn new articles. I am glad that V of AZ doesn't let these old articles drop off into some dark hole, never to be read and debated again. |
