im not a big fan of pantera, or that genre of music. what happened in columbus ohio was a little insane. while performing with his band damageplan, dimebag darrel (former guitarist of pantera) was shot by a man in the audience. reportedly the man was shouting at dimebag saying dimebag was the reason pantera broke up, then he drew his handgun and fired 7 shots (i think it was 7) killing dimebag and injuring another band member, then turning and firing into the crowd. i think the reports said the man was a marine, at any rate the police came and gunned him down. it was indeed a black day not only for metal heads, but for people of all genres of music, security should be stepped up for concerts like it has for airports and us border patrols. we are just as dangerous to ourselves as terrorists are to us.
