Tennis (not a bad doubles player, at least in my age group); swimming here, (well, there's a pool); hiking (prefer northern Arizona for this, where I intend to retire). UPdate: have been AWOL from this site for some time. I did retire up north, altho i work PT with Sp. Ed kids at an elementary school. Intend to get back in the game soon.

Born in New England, lived there until age of 11. Moved to northern Florida; graduated from high school there. College in New York and graduate school in Boston (yes, I graduated).
Officer, U.S. Merchant Marine, 13 years sea time. World-wide travel (see previous).
Officer, U.S. Navy Reserve (during Vietnam War).
Teacher, mostly junior high school, public and private schools; also some GED prep for adults.
Computer jockey now. After college, lived in New Orleans, Boston, Baltimore, and Phoenix.
Married. Three children and two "grand."
