Condoleezza Rice

1969 - Present Condoleezza Rice, being the first African American woman to serve in the President's Cabinet, was sworn in as the Secretary of the U.S. Department of State in 2005. Born in 1954, Dr. Rice was President Bush's National Security Advisor during his first term, prior to which Secretary Dr. Rice was a professor of political science at Stanford University from 1993 to 1999. At Stanford she was an elected official of the Center for International Security and Arms Control, a Senior Fellow of the Institute for International Studies, and a Fellow of the Hoover Institution. From 1989 she served in the Bush Administration for three consecutive years as Director, and then Senior Director of Soviet and East European Affairs in the National Security Council. She was also known to be a part of the Federal Advisory Committee on Gender—Integrated Training in the Military in 1997. |

| Ah yes, the U.S.S. Condoleeza Rice, proudly hauling the oil for the Bush Administration in her new role as Secretary of State. Expect foreign policy to benefit just as much from her leadership as the NSA did during the first Bush term, because as we well know, there were absolutely no lapses of security under her restless watch.

| People keep touting her as "courting the minority voters" and a "black candidate" I want one to know that there is more to a "black candidate" than just skin colour. Condi Rice, maybe is very intelliectual but seems to be tring to move purposely away from the average American black person while using her family history to promote her "blackness" I see her as the most false personalitied persona in our administration. She gets a no, no, no vote for me.
