Illegal Alien Lobby: “The poor Mexican illegal alien is just trying to earn a living for his family.”
Rational Person: “The Average American is just trying to earn a living for his family – in his own country.
“It’s a win-win situation – for the Mexican Upper crust and American Business interests. The Mexican elite are allowed to shirk their duty to their own people when they can rely on the pressure escape valve next door. The American Employer can drive wages for American labor down and pocket the difference.
“Let Mexico provide jobs and support for its own citizens, rather than vast wealth for a thin upper crust of the descendents of the conquistadores at the expense of the other 95% of the Mexican nation.”
This comprehensive immigration bill is a crock of s***!
Supposedly it would tighten border security, establish an immigrant guest worker program, and offer a path to citizenship for millions of illegal immigrants already in the United States.
Once this recipe is in the kitchen, Ted Kennedy will order up an illegal immigrant sandwich with a guest worker program and citizenship – hold the border security.
