Sen. Obama Vs. Sen. Clinton, the Death Match’s Final Days

OK, It’s Monday June 2^nd, 2008, and after Puerto Rico, and with only SD, and MT left, but at this point it may finally be over.

All of Clinton’s efforts have come up short, her supporters have entered a reality disconnect, they’ve been reduced to counting only the states that voted for Hillary, and she’s now saying she has won more states. Sen. Obama has won 32 states, plus Guam and the US Virgin Islands.

He is also winning in the only tally that counts, delegates, needing only 43.5 delegates, Hillary needs 201.5.

The other development is the defection of Hillary’s rational supporters, starting with Gov. Vilsack of IA.

Vilsack is a strong supporter of Hillary Clinton.

(CNN) – Former Iowa Gov. Tom Vilsack, one of Hillary Clinton's most ardent supporters, said Sunday it's time for Hillary Clinton to acknowledge she has lost her bid for the Democratic nomination.

Vilsack, who was briefly a presidential candidate himself last year, told the Associated Press it's "pretty clear that Senator Obama is going to be the nominee."

"After Tuesday's contests, she needs to acknowledge that he's going to be the nominee and quickly get behind him," Vilsack also said.

Yep, after the last 2 contests, Obama will have this wrapped up, and it will be time to rally behind the nominee. So, in spite of the efforts of the lowest of amphibians, and the armies of Faux News, Sen. Obama will have the nomination, and will be the next President of the United States.

Hillary is the most qualified for the job and you all know it. The Democrats pushing Obama is the same as voting for Crum. The end result is you will lose and be bitter and load your guns. After the election I will be here posting all of my old comments and all of you will be crying in your soup. I am sure that after Obamas defeat none of you will ever post again at this site. You will find another place to piss bitch and complain about President McCain.

You know what they say it is ok to lose once in a while just don’t make it a habit. Half of the Democrats are proven to be habitual losers. The losers here are Phaedrus, promethious, indie, moron, WILLIAM and az moderate. Nice little group you should all have dinner together when it’s over to figure out your next loser.

What don't you people get about Hillary Clinton and the DNConvention in August?

She is not going to pass up the opportunity to "flip" Supers as these two dead months role by.

She's not vying for the VP position, she's after the top job.

Rumors of her demise have been greatly exaggerated... To paraphrase the Great Mark Twain.

I'll never forget your posts about how Obama is such a great candidate for presidency based off of how charismatic he is.

Planning to lose, so the super popular, strong polling, charismatic, handsome, youthful, midwestern guy can run against the septarian, crippled, war monger at a time when 65% of the public wants out of Iraq in 12 mos... Not a good idea.

Though I can only find one, I remember you posting similar things about his charisma multiple times.

Now being a nutjob liberal (the extreme liberal which is followed by nutty liberal and then just plain liberal), I figured you would know that Bush supporters had the same feeling about him and it turns out that it isn't such a good idea to vote someone into office based on how charismatic they are.

First, KIA, I was posting here before Sen. Kerry ran his campaign into the ditch. And I'm still here. While Kerry lost, he was still right, and Bush and Cheney, and Liebermann and McCain have been wrong on the most important, strategic policy failure in US history.

As for Obama, and misesti-stating how many states, on a long campaign, many sleepless nights, with a microphone in your face constantly, people make misstatements. That is very different than intentionally conflating Sunni Islamic Al Queda, with Shiite Iraq, & Iran, and using that as the basis to start a war.

It is the difference between a husband who calls his wife by his mother's name once, and a man conspiring to meet with a mistress.

As for aa and his obsession with the Clintons and Hillary going to the convention for a floor fight, the latest news out today is the Clinton camp is having a "party" in New York, they're buying all their campaign staff airplane tix, either to the staffer's home or to New York, but not both. They have also told them to get any receipts for reimbursement turned in now, or they won't get paid. This will be shut down come Wednesday night. She'll suspend the campaign, and if some miracle happens, she'll be able to get back in.

Here's more, on the biggest problem Hillary's campaign has faced all along...

Once we began chatting, I quickly felt that X was looking for a way to declare her support of Senator Obama without running afoul of Bill Clinton. She repeatedly expressed how loyal she was to Bill because he put Democrats on the map, and all he’s done over the years. She was very worried and concerned about loyalty.

She never did mention Hillary Clinton. Only Bill.

Do you understand that? When you run for President, it really needs to be about you, not your husband.

The Clinton campaign issued a statement at around 9pm saying they will be hosting an event to announce her support for Sen. Obama on Saturday, as opposed to Friday:

The fat lady is now on the stage; she is about to sing... The only thing that will be more painfully joyful to watch is going to be the photos of Bush having to greet Pres. Elect Obama.

Good salvo, Phaedrus!

Yeah, "Don't forget to turn out the lights" - isn't that what Bill told Hillary when he left for his foundation in this morning's darkness? "...and damned fast!" was the conference call message she received from her pledged Supers in the House and Senate today!

Little wonder, the way she blew it in Tuesday night's cloistered rally for the faithful - after that debacle, her support eroded faster than a sandcastle in a rising tide! Hillary's campaign officially rendered her irelevant - overnight!

Then there's BAA Boy's floor fight fixation - is kissing a toad ass really so hallucinogenic that it lasts for months? And KIA's opinion seems based on a confused misinterpretation of history and a Geritol label while all Orditer can come up with is a slip of Obama's golden tongue . Where do you guys get off tryin' to pass off this crap as realistic - or even meaningful - political dialogue? It's more embarrassing than McCain's lime slime backdrop!
