Bryan, thank you for your moderate viewpoint in Voice of (Liberal) America. I can hear the groans going up right now, but you seem to be rationally able to listen to others even though you do not change your mind. That’s as it should be. I think you and many of us can do political business as we agree to disagree on some issues, and see eye-to-eye on a few issues.
Sunday’s The Arizona Republic posted a letter to the editor that claims there are now nine Christian music stations in the Phoenix broadcast area. As Christ is my Lord, I’m not sure why we need yet another station for music in the AM band.

Valley loses valuable radio voice
Mar. 5, 2006 12:00 AM
Wednesday marked the first day that the Air America Radio affiliate in Phoenix (KXXT-AM 1010) was off the air.
Air America's progressive format operated in the black and was growing in its market share but was mysteriously replaced by yet another Christian broadcasting network, Phoenix's ninth to be exact. Was this a covert effort to silence the only democratic voice on the AM radio airwaves in Phoenix or merely just a business transaction with a coincidentally tragic ending? Who knows, for certain?
Bob Christy, former general manager of KXXT: If you're reading this, you have thousands of dedicated supporters here in the Valley; a listener base that continues to grow with every Republican blunder. We wish you and your effort to bring progressive thought back into this vacuum of neoconservative diatribe the very best of luck. - Jeff Servoss, Phoenix

amen, brother, Amen.
I love and highly recommend KLOVE, a beautiful source of Christianity through music and talk at 105.5 in the FM band. It is enough for me. It reflects true Christianity in my humble opinion.
As a Christian, I cannot support the un-Christian values of arrogance (e.g., praying on the street corner for all to see) and anti-American values of dictatorship (e.g., “Our way or the highway”) that are part and parcel of this NeoCoNazi philosophy. They would shut down all opposing viewpoints and impose their narrow view and loud preachments in a tyrannical theocracy. There would be re-education camps and loudspeakers on every street corner.
That must not be allowed by patriotic Americans that care for our Constitution and Bill-of-Rights as ordained by our Creator. Or, patriotic Americans that are not religious but that support our Constitution and Bill-of-Rights religiously as the best hope of mankind.
For our own salvation from tyranny, opposing opinions must not be shut down. Ideas must be hawked in the free marketplace of ideas and thrive or disappear on their merits as judged by you and me. The “free market” is sacred to the NeoCoNazis so long as it helps their financial bottom line, but it is not OK for ideas. Although at first glance they seem to make strange bedfellows, they are of one mind with their Chinese Communist counterparts in this matter. They stand shoulder-to-shoulder against individual freedom. Air America is a voice in the wilderness of Conservative talk shows, and we must save Air America here in Phoenix.
We must and we will bring the liberal point of view back into the Phoenix broadcast area. It was here by popular support, and the zealous minority of the other side will not be allowed to prevail. Whether you agree with the liberal point of view or not, you have to admit that they are democratic. No one was filtered out or shut down because they phoned in with opposing views. That certainly cannot be said for the NeoCoNazis.
Fellow Moderate Conservative Americans and fellow Moderate Liberal Americans, help restore Air America to the Valley of the Sun.
