I just ran across this article and it was chilling to hear that such an action was taken without anyone really knowing about it.  Here is the link to World Net Daily about the story:

Two things come to mind about this move:

1.  Is this another of the steps to get NAFTA off the ground?
2.  Is this another step for the "Powers That Be" to shore up an already depleted military for some agenda that they may have in the future?

Either case is one that really should scare the crap out of all of us!!!  According tot he article, it never saw the light of day in Congress and was just taken on under conditions that Bush has under Homeland Security Presidential Directive 20!  The terms and conditions in this Directive are so vague that any definition so desired by the powers that be could fall under this!  This is a load of crap!  Saying that it will be helpful in a national disaster or a terrorist attack and leaving Civil Disturbance as a footnote. 

I just way this article and would really like for others on this site to add to this topic.  I know that there has to be a whole lot more to this story.
