Something to think about:

Regarding that "light" the people who have had a near death experience "see" & have the "urge to go towards" is most likely the light in the birthing room the baby sees as it's passing through the birth canal.  And, the "voices", are the voices of everyone around the mother instructing, or just plain talking.

There is no "life after death" besides the new life you're going directly into from this one.

Yes, as you can tell, I am an Atheist.  After all I've seen in this world:  the death, the destruction by man, the abuse and vicious murders of children, the vicious kidnappings & killings of people, the Bush Crime Family destroying America & the World; no, I do not believe in a "god".  The Bible is just another story, not even well-written, by selfish men - like BushCo - to manipulate the people of that time, & future time, to do as THEY think should be done.  Not to mention, the writers of the Bible were also like BushCo:  Do as I SAY, not as I DO.
