This Sunday will be the last www.voiceofarizona.com show on 1100 KPHX unless by some strange chance the financing suddenly comes up from out of nowhere. I know some of you will have the comment of "so what" while others will say "what took so long". And that's fine.
I have had a great time hosting the show and intend in the near future to return to the airwaves to drive the Liberals crazy with my opinions both educated and not but always grounded in common sence on everything from immigration to Global warming. I've even enjoyed those of you who called in to try to take a shot at me, it was always some of the best calls (MIC, Indie) and I looked forward to them.
Being that this is the final show I wish to make a statement of thanks to Brian and Michelle at Voice of Arizona along with their dedicated staff for giving me the chance to host the show. My only wish is that it continued for at least another 13 weeks. I had some more ideas for shows that I will now have to box up for the time being.
For those of you looking for more VofA type shows please give your attention to MIC's Fantastic Forum show. It isn't a done deal as of yet, but I believe he will get it on the air soon and it will be a welcome addition to NovaM radio.
If the opportunity presents itself (who am I kidding, I'm going to fight like hell to get another show somewhere) for me to be on the air I will let you know.
No goodbyes, no fairwells, as I am not going anywhere except to the den to increase my writing on this site which I have neglected to some extent since the show started.
This is where William would add God Bless you and not mean it, but I will instead add pickles taste funny, because it has just about as much meaning.

| Well AA. I know you enjoyed this radio show thing. And you took some heat and ribbing on this site over it--and I make NO apologies for my part in that : ) But I will say that you got better and better each week, showing that you can learn! I listened to every show except two. You were true to the cause-trying to drive more conservatives to this site. The fact that we haven't seen more rightwingers is certainly not because you didn't make the effort to promote this site as much as you reasonably could. |

| Tom, My opinions might not be liked, but when I have an expert on the show it is not my knowledge of history or politics that is of matter. When I am on alone or when I say something you disagree with, that is a disagreement, nothing more. We have differing views on many subjects, that does not make either us right or wrong necessarily. I see things you don't, and at times you see things I don't. Personally I think your understanding of politics is wrong, as you see everyone on the same page and I do not. And your understanding of history is no better just because you have lived more of it either. If it my view you don't like than I can except that, and if I make a factual error like a year, a vote count or a name I can except that, but if I disagree with you, well thats a difference of opinion not a dismal knowledge of the subject. |

I have a weird suggestion. How about people spending more time trying to get people to bond instead of all the time trying to prove to themselves and everyone else that the best thing is everyone should be alienated because nothing is worth a crap? That would be the wildest thing ever to occur. Just a thought. Won't happen anyway. I hear all this talk about how everything is going to pot in this Country and "I'm better than you", "I have more experience than you", and never anything about any encouragement about breaking the vicious cycle. Just that we are doomed and it's all over with. Just a matter of time. To me that has always been the most counter productive thing ever and it just goes on and on and on. |
