So AA had his radio debut tonight. Because it would be rude and unseemly, I won't mention that his first show took place on April Fool's day.
Here is my review. Starting from the bottom up-so to speak.
His caller Lisa pleaded for the two factions to get together to fix the countries problems. Here Here!!! AA agreed that was important, and to be helpful in this regard threw in the comment "Conservatives think, Liberals feel." Way to get to get the dialogue started AA!
I would have to say that I was a little confused by Lisa's comment that every time "Michelle" called in she was a Bush blamer---being as it was AA's first show.
AA posited that now the Iraq war was the responsiblity of the Democrats. Another example of the personal responsibility of the Conservatives! Good God!
And what is up with the grilling from the screener? I told him my name and what I wanted to comment on. (AA's UN assertion). Next question---"what about it?" Gee, on the "liberal" side of the radio show I get "name and town please." And then I get to talk. I promised the screener that I would waterboard myself and he let me through. (That last part was a joke for all you neocons).
AA has a good radio voice. And I am sure that he was nervous. He didn't sound like it. He is a good little Republican, and carries the water well for his side. Exactly what he is supposed to do.
AA did a good job of promoting this site, and Bryan was very informative. Sounds like good things are coming to our little home here.
So, AA. Overall, I give you an above average grade. I can't lower your grade bacause of your views.
The Big Bang!!!

| Oh, but Tom, you should have listened! He called you out (twice)! By name! Based on the fact that the screener was an a******, I figure that it won't be long before AA gets enough like-minded phone callers and then it will cease to be a "free speech" show. I think he just let me thru because they weren't any other callers on the line. That isn't AA's fault. And I do have to say that he is a good advocate for the site. I would like to see more right wingers here. Of course, I don't think that AA's advocacy is completely innocuous...he wants allies--he is "out-numbered" and talking points only go so far. (the facts always get the way of his arguments). |

| I can't get the station inside my house out here in the boonies (NO reception). I would have had to sit in my car . . . not going to happen unless I am actually driving somewhere. Maybe someday I will catch his show. Can't be any worse than Bruce Jacobs (why did ABC interview this joker after the suns victory today? I turned it off immediately)

| I gotcha indie616, might try next week! Sorry missed your show Saturday . . . outta town, but I stumbled into Ed Shultz show as I drove `tween Bullhead city and Kingman. He wasn't so on the fence leaning right sounding like he was before. Might be nice to have him back in Phoenix? He was ripping King George pretty good.

| Oh so on his first show, he already has the screener weeding out liberal callers. Truely Rush Lite. I wanted to listen, but it went into dinner time.

| Phaedrus, To be fair, I don't think AA had anything to do with the screener. And I don't know that they wouldn't have put me on irregardless. However, I just thought it interesting that when I call the the AAPHX show, they don't ask what I am gonna say. Unlike this guy, who when I said "AA's UN assertion" said "what about it." |
