Senator Hillary R. Clinton for her recent comment (ums omitted for clearity):

"My husband did not wrap up the nomination in 1992, until he won the California primary.....sometime in the middle of June. Right?"

"We all remember Bobby Kennedy was assassinated in June, in California. You know, I don't understand it. There's lots of speculation."

Reporter: What's your speculation?

Clinton: "You know, I don't know; I find it curious. I don't want to atribute motives or stradagies to people 'cause I really don't know; but, it is an historical curosity to me."

Translation: We need an heir and a spare; and, if and when something unforseen and tragic befalls Obama, Clinton will be in the wings waiting to take the reigns!

This is cold, people.

Please, why did you have to bring up the Curious George thing again?? We will be reliving it again for the next 10 pages. I refuse to get involved this time.

Dark Woman, Could Hillary have possibly been thinking about her own demise?? Do you see where this is going, people have to watch every word they say because we have an insecure guy who once again ASSUMES everything is directed at him. We don't want to live in a world where we are constantly looking over our shoulder, because we might offend someone.

Last time I looked Hillary and Obama belonged to the same party, thankfully not the party I entrust. Obama will involve himself in anything that will give him press, this will lead to his undoing. He cries wolf too often, people will get sick of it.

Sen. Clinton has been the recipient of countless 'gaffs'; still Obama endeavors to remain the frey. Hillary is too intelligent to have made such an appalling statement; at least by mistake. She is angry and bitter; and cannot believe that she has been dethroned by this upstart. How dare he get in my way?

David Axlerod, Obama's campaign manager, has cut her more slack than I can; Sen. Clinton has immersed herself in the tactics of Rove and Starr; and decided to follow their winner take all style of doublespeak, innuendo, and lies. I'm though! This is beyond the pale

Bush isn't "yesterday" yet -- we still have 6 more months of embarrassing trips to the Middle East where he can grovel for more oil. But you are right, it's getting tired. I'd much rather be talking about McCain for the next 5 months.

First, did you hear what FOX NEWS contributor Liz Trotta said yesterday AM? She wished that someone would kill both Osama and Obama. She just asked for the thing that the right wing wants. Like Huckabee making a joke that was in similar bad taste.

Second, I don't believe that Hillary was saying she wanted something bad to befall Obama.
However, it was the false analogy and outright lies that drove her in the ditch. Her husband had the nomination wrapped up in April, and since she was there, then she knew it well. (Lie 1). In 1968 RFK didn't enter the primary until March 16, and only one state (New Hampshire) had even held a primary before he entered. So, June in 1968 was like March 2008. (Lie 2).

Then she said that everyone had been trying to get her out of the race since the Iowa caucus. (Lie 3). Then she said that her opponent had been trying to get her to drop out. Obama has never said she should drop out (Lie 4). All those lies piled up into one stupid comment that got her in hot water.

Third; Obama has been very gracious. He said he didn't believe that Hillary had evil intent. His campaign manager said, in effect, 'this thing is over.' Which is a hell of a lot more gracious than she would have been.

Thx for the clarity, Indie. I don't believe Sen. Clinton actually wishes death on Obama; but that was a hell of a thing to say and she has made similar comments.

I was opened minded about her until she said the she and McCain were the only ones fit to run; of course, I'm paraphrasing wilding, but we got the gist.

I was pregnant with my second and last child when one day I turned on the TV and they were talking about the Kennedy assassination; I assumed they meant JFK. I remembered watching MLK's funeral on the tube and seeing Bobby walking in the hot sun with jacket hung over his shoulder. It crossed my mind that he could be next; of course, I pushed it out of my head.

To some of us this history, many of us refuse to learn, is personal history as well. I know there are lurkers out there with mayhem on their minds; I worry for Obama and his family and anyone near him.

I can only try and keep good thoughts; I cannot pray. Let's hope we can actually making martyrs here; enough innocent blood has and continues to be spilt in our name.

I agree it was a hell of a thing to say. She gets no pass from me. If she hadn't been spewing BS, she wouldn't have stepped in it.

I personally was never a big fan of Hillary. But I didn't have an intense dislike of her until one of the first debates. She was so smug. I thought-We have seen enough of THAT over the past 7 years.

But, as you say, the last straw was her McCain comment. That was that. I was for anyone but her in this primary season after that.
