Trickle Down Politics

Junebug, when I saw your article's title I thought I would be treated to a posting on trickle down economics. 

Wow.  Was I surprised?  Yuk!  Not a pretty picture!!  Butt yes Jack Mack (by the way "Jack" is a version of John and Mack is short for Mc - as in McCane) has indeed shifted his position again to deal with the battlefield contingencies as they unfold.  Whata soldier! 

Of course every time he runs from rock to Bush to escape the fusillade of criticism he so richly deserves, he craps his uniform a little more.  Now he is supporting this traitorous SOB that has taken our domestic politics overseas with him.  Good!  That should be the mother lode, if you get my meaning.

It's my sense of humor - that Stinkypoo graphic is the vision that popped into my head the first time I read the RNCC's new campaign slogan: Change You Deserve.  That diaper symbolizes 8 years worth of Republican s*** - that's the change I think Americans deserve!  Sorry if it offends you NeoCons or other bottomfeeders.

Indie - I dig the new avatar!  But it gives me the creeps - would you consider superimposing an international prohibition sign on it?  You know, the red circle with a diagonal slash?

Mody - sorry to disappoint!  Today really was a great day though - Bush, despite his breaches of good taste and protocol, finally elevated Obama to the plane where he belongs!  I mean, how many sitting presidents have ever committed the faux pas that Bush pulled in Jerusalem AND attacked a presumptive nominee of the opposition?  That McCain elbowed his way into the scarp is great - Obama will acquit himself well in that trialogue!  That sorta leaves Hillary and Terry McAuliffe in Kentucky watchin' the bluegrass grow!  Ah yes, that's as it should be!

2 Cents - I don't think Indie or anyone's suggesting you shut up - that would sorta defeat the whole idea of this forum.  However, like Indie, I keep waiting for you to write something worth reading - practice, man, practice!

Ah, and BAA Boy - well no hock, McCain says he's gonna win the Iraq War by 2013!  That's the whole point, BAA - he ever so cavalierly ASSUMES the conflict will be won, al Qaeda will be vanquished and an Iraqi democracy will be flourishing by 2013 - then we can bring home the troops! 

BAA Boy, Liberalism has nothing to do with it - it's all about REALITY and McCain is proving himself to be even more delusional than Bush! 

Let me draw you a picture in words of the fewest syllable I can muster - for years, Bush has not been able to win this conflict despite massive infusions of military power and treasure, despite the surge, despite the spin!  And, now, McCain asks us to take it on faith that he can end it in just 4 more years!  No hint of a strategy, not so much as a clue as to how he'd do it! 

Hah - can't reveal details like that, would aid the enemy, right?  Bush lied, lies and will lie each time he says, "The surge is working!" Now, McCain says, "Trust me, I'll end it!"  And all you demented, chickenhawk NeoCon warmongers line up behind them in your armchairs, with the TV remote locked and loaded!  

Enough is enough - and we Democrats have had too much!  You guys had your chance, now it's our turn!

BTW, BAA, the shootin' going on in Iraq is a civil conflict with so many factions I've lost count and there is no way we or anyone else can "win" it!  That's the straight scoop, regardless of what Rush or O'Reilly tell you!

And, appeasement?  C'mon BAA, grow up - stop playing follow-the-leader - and at least TRY to think for yourself.  In less than a year, President Obama will be looking to all of us, even you, for creative feedback on how he's doin'!  At the rat you're going, I don't think you'll be ready.
