After hearing Michelle’s opening remarks yesterday, I tuned to another station. Lord help us - I’m overdosed on Reverend Wright, how about you?!?macsign

To my way of thinking, the Reverend Wright gambit is spent - it’s run its course, it’s old news! Whatever damage it’s going to do has been done - notwithstanding the predictions of the cable pundits and GOP operatives that “the issue’s not going to go away”!

Well, hell no, it’s not going to go away so long as Obama’s affiliation with Reverend Wright is used for explaining everything from the movement of Obama’s poll numbers to the number of tornadoes in Arkansas!

For me, the real problem is not that it may not go away - it’s that the issue never goes anywhere! That may be the real reason why the pundits may be correct - the anti-Obama factions will keep it alive!

Johnny Green reports he's fed up with all the VoA disclaimers followed immediately by Toad’s and Michelle’s incessant anti-Obama-Jeremiah-Wright drumbeat.

Me, too!

In the most important presidential primary of my life, I’ll be damned if I’ll listen to some rank amateurs with air time take down a promising candidate by pandering to racial stereotypes - without so much as even a mention of the political issues.

Michelle, the name of Rush’s movement you were grappling for is the Chaos Movement. It’s certainly unethical, probably illegal in some states, but, what the hell, it generates votes for Hillary so I can understand why you’d not give it the airtime that Jeremiah Wright receives.

When all is said and done, this is just dirty pool! If there is a forthcoming schism in the Democratic Party, the VoA staff may be counted as a major contributor!

UGH!
