| rdrover, it seemed to fit the outline of increasingly outlandish claims, objectives, agendas, missions and pontifications coming from this hood ornament. It just keeps building, with no resolution or accountability, a game of "Gee, can I top that one?". I though I had heard $190 Brazilian more for war, or something like that. What ever it is, it's obscene. When President Bush speaks, the square on the podium barely equals the square root of the sum of the squares coaching him behind the platform, but he seems to have all the right angles, even though he is obtuse to a great degree. He has graciously consented to address a limited number of the issues raised above, however. | The closest VP Cheney has come to taking tough questions lately was an interview Wednesday with Rush Limbaugh. A sample exchange: Rush: Would you call that speech cautious? It's been said - the last word I would associate with it. I thought it was bold. I thought the statement of American values, the statement of American future was just - I loved it. I don't see where people - people in the media today called him - he's cautious - modest. Cheney: No, I would agree with you, Rush . . . I thought it was one of the best State of the Union speeches I'd ever heard because it was broadly thematic and did hit on what I thought were some major, major items. Strictly linear... |

| I think there's a subtlty here that everyone's missed. AZ Mod's pie-shaped graphic is 1/6 of a pyramid and the relationship of the height to the circumference of a pyramid is pi. Elementary, really! |

| What about the John F. Kennedyesque grand announcement of a proposed project for NASA to reach Mars in a decade or so? Big hoopla – than silence. Either this fellow has attention deficit disorder, or he takes the Average American for a gullible dummy, or both. My vote is both.

BTW, make that half a trillion Warbucks, Bush is asking for another $120 billion -- outside the budget, of course. I think that's called Deficit Reduction or some such arcane financial expression...
