i made my ebay account well over a year ago at my old apartment. i moved, and updated my address and s*** on ebay. at least i thought i did, somewhere in the mayhem of changing it, it left my old address as my primary one.
so i buy this leather trench coat. yeah, a leather trench coat, right as its going into summer here in az. you might ask "wtf why?" and i will say "psh, its me" and you will understand.
thats beside the point, anyway i got the coat for 40 some bucks with shipping and handling (coat its self was like 27 - and worth every penny). the seller who is, as far as i can tell, from ohio, contacted a shipper down in texas to ship the coat to me. i learned that from the ups tracking information.
anyway on the 4th (a friday) the seller said the coat was shipped... so i waited... and waited... then through the weekends, up until tuesday of the next week (the 8th) because A: i had no tracking number for the package at the time and B: it was taking way too f***ing long to get here. so i checked the email confirmation from the seller, which i found had my old address listed as the ship to address (BUTTf***!). i contacted the seller on ebay and let them know of the issue... f*** it ill post my original messages:
anyway can you have your supplier reship it or give me a refund? again im sorry for all the trouble! =(
then i get this smart assed f***ing response the next day (9th):
honestly, i cant make that s*** up^
so im f***ing pissed off about that and the fact that i dont have a ups tracking number so i dont know where the package is, if its been delivered or not. i was pretty busy the 10th (thursday) and didnt get home soon enough to make any calls that would amount to anything - i DID call my old complex but no one picked up - so i tried to put it out of my head and did my nightly routine of not eating and playing world of warcraft.
the 11th (friday - one week after package has been shipped confirmation) i called my old apartment complex again that night. someone picks up and i go "yeah i think you have a package for me, but i dont live at the address anymore" i tell them the apartment number and they go check, it wasnt in the back room so they say they will check the list of deliveries. low and behold it was on the list as being delivered! however they had sent it back yesterday, on thursday, and said that i would not be able to come pick it up. i bit my tongue and said ok thanks and hung up. how the f*** was i supposed to know it was even delivered? so i looked up the nearest ups store asap as it was getting close to 5:30 and some asian lady picked up and i go "hi i need to find out where a package is, but i dont have the tracking number... can you still find it for me?" she goes "oh so sorry sir you need dah tracking numba for me to help you sorry" and then we hung up. so i get back on ebay and message the seller:
i contacted ebay support about the whole f***ing thing and they said that since the seller used paypal i could open a claim with them and get my money back through buyer protection. BUT i had to wait 10 days after the money transfer had taken place (the 2nd) and i had to wait until the 12th to open the claim. then i get a message back from the seller on the 12th (saturday):

a tracking number! see it!? yeah i know, i worded it out for "legal" reasons. but what is this? "New Delivery Address: GLENDALE, AZ, US" ? i have never ever lived in glendale, nor had i made any mention to the seller about the city. about this time im majorly pissed about this c*** that wont get up and f***in do something about it, probably spent my 40 some bucks on something stupid, and the fact that i still dont have my god damned discount trench coat. is there some big warehouse of lost and found ups packages in glendale? if so then this wouldnt be a problem other than spending 20 bucks in gas to get over there and back.
anyway now that i had the tracking number i figured i would call ups again and see if i could sort this s*** out. i called and the lady on the phone said the system was down! what the hell? and that i needed to call back during normal business hours. thats f***in jacked s*** right there.
unfortunately when i went onto the ups site to change the destination address, i needed the origin address as well which was some place in texas and what i saw of it was limited to "TEXAS, US" and i couldnt change it on the site. i called ups to set the new delivery address but they said it was scanned as delivered and i couldnt do anything about it.
sunday was a dead day so i got nothing accomplished then.
i waited all of monday (the 14th) to see if maybe something miraculous had happened and the mystery address in glendale had turned out to be my address here in phoenix. i called the office here at my complex and they said they didnt have any packages for me, but the ups guy had dropped off a package he was confused about (!), but that one also wasnt for me. major f***ing fail.
the 15th (tuesday) came along and i opened the claim with paypal to get my money back because i was done f***ing around with the whole thing. i put this as the opening claim line for the seller to see:
then today (wednesday the 16th) i see a message back saying this:
theres a couple things WRONG with the person who sold me this coat. i was rude by announcing that i was being a dick asking for help to get the package to my real address? i think not. "No feedback so I should not have sold to him." WHAT THE f***!? so i should leave feedback when they have my money and i dont have what they sold to me? i figured i would be a nice guy and not leave feedback at all rather than leave negative feedback. so i just made this response and elevated the claim to paypals judges or whatever this morning:
so thats the whole ordeal. im f***ing pissed off about it, and it probably is my fault in the first place but what the f*** else am i supposed to do? ive tried to get it sorted out as best i could to no avail. then i just got this email from paypal saying they are looking into it so maybe they will see the situation for what it is and i will get my money back.
i hate ebay.
anyway that was just a vent, the real article is down here! =D
so im at walmart sunday, and in the line theres this rather lanky fellow that looks somewhat familiar. i couldnt even begin to tell you where ive seen him before but i think i hated him at one point. i know its a long shot but as far as im concerned i hated the kid on general grounds because he looked like someone i knew.
the end.

So I guess what I'm trying to tell you is that this might be one of those times when you are SOL.
BTW, I did go to the police station and talked to the ass-cop's boss the next day. He told me that technically there was no police action to be taken, and any complaint I could lodge against the cop would likely be ignored by the department and the courts. So if there is anyone who should be bitter and vengeful about illegals, it's me. But I still realize that the solution is not to round them up and deport them. In fact, it's the illegal employer I want to rot in jail.
