Howdy JustJoan.
Thank you for taking the time to examine the articles and then write a thoughtful and well written comment. It is much appreciated. We are on the same wavelength, and there is more to come. In the meantime, you might examine The Confidence Game – Part 3, newly published.
Poor Dubya! Let me say that Dubya has inherited the economic juggernaut that is discussed in The Confidence Game – Part 3.
I know, I know – that sounds like him blaming former President Clinton for all the incompetence that has rained down on us during this nincompoop’s reign. But, the fact is that the economic juggernaut that we are riding predates his misbegotten regime.
Poor Dubya! On this issue he can't really do much about it, but people are finally starting to hold him to account for things that go wrong on his watch. What a paradox: not entirely his fault, but people are becoming less willing to give him a free pass.
To be sure, there is no doubt whatsoever that this Confidence-Man-in-Chief has been busy with his shell game and flim-flam to an extent that is starting to alarm even some in his conservative base.
Poor Dubya! His behavior is finally beginning to register in the fringes of the neocon fogbank.
But although he is a willing, and largely ignorant, instrument in the demise of our American civilization, he is along for the ride on this economic juggernaut. Poor Dubya!
Oh sure, he can and does do intentional and unintentional stupidities here and there that serve to accelerate Global Serfdom and secure yet greater control for the Overlords of the Power Elite. And he is certainly on call, as the neocon hood ornament, 24/7.
But Poor Dubya is just content to clear brush (Texas must be getting pretty bald after all the vacations that Dubya has taken) and ride his bike through his fog of faith into history as a footnote to the process.
Others are putting the visions in his head and the words on his tongues.
Poor Dubya.
