Like it or not the Rev. Wright controversy is hurting Obama badly with white, blue collar democrats, white middle class independents and rural whites and rural independents. This creates a big problem for Obama and democrats and is part of a gift wrapped perfect storm of democrat turmoil for Senator McCain.
Already showing weakness in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Florida against Hillary Clinton, Obama is losing ground at breakneck speed in these swingstates in head to head matchups with Senator McCain. It's only a matter of time before the racist, paranoid, anti-American remarks of Obama's spiritual Godfather begin to chip away at Obama's wide but thin support in states like Missouri, Iowa, Michigan, and New Hampshire.
Also, after today's announcement that a revote in Michigan is in doubt coupled with Florida's refusal to revote, Hillary Clinton's last hope of catching Obama in the popular vote and convincing super delegates to override Obama's pledged delegates lead is now basically a statistical impossibility. If Super delegates stole the nomination from Obama after he's won more votes with more pledged delegates the party would revolt and wouldn't recover for 20years.
So now the Dems are stuck with Obama. He's the nominee. Untested, inexperienced, not vetted, and forever tied to a racist, America Hating mad man preacher who frightens and repulses the very swing voters Obama used to defeat Hillary and was relying on to best Senator McCain. And who knows where the next shoe drops? Once it's proven that Obama was present during any of these maniacal rants or that his Rezko ties are more sinister than he's let on you can kiss the Presidency goodbye. We're talking an electoral landslide.
I wonder what that hot babe Cindy McCain will wear to the inaugural?

For the last month or so I've been trying to make the point that Democrats are throwing away their chances to win back the White House by nominating Barack Obama. After the Wright scandal and Obama's failure today to address the real issue (his support for the Reverend) I'll bet that there are a lot of white voters out there who have already voted for him and feel duped. They might just want their votes back and we'll see if that's the case in November.
