As I partook in the Sunday shows it was apparent the party talking heads got their talking points on how to handle the Obama-Wright situation.

Christopher Dodd, an Obama supporter, was asked to weigh in on the racist rhetoric and came back with some incoherrent jibberish about the mortgage crisis. Scmuckey Shumer, a Clinton supporter, said we should move on and tried to steer the discussion toward something other than  Wright.

So it seems apparent the strategy is nuthin to see here keep movin nuthin to see here.

Then I turned to always reliable liberal radio and our own CLB. Lo and behold Charles in charge was on the phone to explain it all away. You know the drill. Obama's shouldn't be held resposible for what a crazy uncle had to say.(must have gotten the Randi Roades talking point memo) McCain is worse because those right wing lunatic preachers have said much worse and he has their support. More of the company line.

So I decide surely the media didnt have a dog in the fight so i checked out MSNBC the stalwart of all media. Perhaps Olbermann would get to the bottom of this. Nuthin to see there except LA Times columnist Rosa Brooks' explanation that Barack "probably wasn't listening" during the sermons.

I guess i'm left to conclude that if it were a republican who had attended a church for over two decades and refered to his preacher as a close friend and spiritual advisor, had married him and his wife, baptised his children that those of you on the left would still be saying.....Keep moving nuthin to see here.
