EXCERPT: ...for all good Americans to launch the revolution. With the mounting criminal activity unfolding in the Bush administration, the Democratic non-response, and the general apathy of the "American Idol" public, it may be left up to those of us who care about what is happening in this country to mount a strategy to literally take it back.
Such a busy day on Capitol Hill. Bush's revelations about his imaginary war on terror, the Democrats raising the white flag...

EXCERPT: Looking back on all of the scandals of the Bush administrations last six years, why is it now that one, little known Congressman from Florida is bringing the party to it's knees? (no pun intended). In my estimation it is simply because their base, the "religious right" that they have pandered to quite effectively has only one concern when it comes to politics. Sex and sexually related matters. The scandals, too numerous to list include the Abramoff...

EXCERPT: The closer November 7th gets, the more acutely I am aware of the institutionalized lying that the Republicans have elevated to an art. I think it goes without saying, that Bush has the number one spot wrapped up. (I am a uniter, not a divider, I will have a transparent administration, blah, blah, blah...) But I think the battle for the number two spot is just too close to call. Condi with her litany of lies, most recently about the 9/11 warnings issued to her, Rummy's...

EXCERPT: George Bush is now calling Hezbollah a "state within a state". According to him this must be a bad thing. That one political party, albeit an extremist one, within a nation would take control and run roughshod over the other, without taking into account the consequences on the entire country is a downright crime. I mean, how dare Hezbollah, a democratically elected political party, with control of a military force initiate agression against another...

EXCERPT: There continues an age old debate about how to reduce/eliminate racism in this country. The first step, I believe, is to eliminate they contrived idea of "race" to begin with. There is no more difference between myself and Louis Farrakhan, than there is between me and my partner. Genetically we are all homosapiens, period. Add to the mix the the concept of "culture" and you have a recipe for bigotry. Racists always point to the...

EXCERPT: New FEMA Director, David Paulison, announced today that there were many lessons learned from the failed response to hurricane Katrina. Paulison states that, "What happened in Katrina has changed the face of emergency management in this country." It seems to me that the current administration is claiming to reinvent the wheel at every turn. Did hurricanes Hugo, Andrew, Camille, etc... not teach us how to properly respond to a hurricane? The same holds true...
