Who decides when an article gets "locked from further comment"

Is this the frickin Soviet Union or what?

Im assuming, and I know that's dangerous, that the article questioning the Farias-patrick/Pallast question of inproriety in the maricopa county elelctions was too hot for someone on this site.

I went to check and see if CLB had asked Palast about this and lo and behold no comments allowed.

WTF? Is this a free speach zone or not?

This bulls*** needs to stop. Who the f*** is the grand pooba anyway?

A member who was previously suspended for repeatedly violating the terms of use, came back to the site using several names and repeated the violations again. The member has been permanently banned from this site.

I don't know what article you are looking at but not only did Palast respond (and I posted the answer under my name) there are 3 pages of comments?!

I'd like to hear the interview and listen to your callers question these people. How about it? All these allegations of election fraud with no proof or prosecutions is starting to resemble a witch hunt and McCarthyism. How about you use your influence to settle it?
