My name is William Crum and I am a candidate for the House of Representative, U. S. Congress, District Two.
I am married and have five daughters along with fifteen grandchildren.
You would think that would keep me busy enough that I would not have time to run for political office.. The main reason I am running for this office are my children and grandchildren. The future looks plenty dim with the lights going out.
What do I mean by this: mistakes in Congress are directly effecting my children and grandchildren for their future. In fact, they are effecting my pursue of a happy life and as I round the corner of life as a senior, my quality of life to come.
Red is not a real good colors in most thing in life: in combat, it means I have been hit and probably dying; In an accident, the same can be said; in my check book, I don’t have money and therefore I must give up things or lose them. In government, its means that we are not managing our budget and the same will happen with lost of services.
We need to manage our money and keep a balance budget. Always take in more than we send out because you will never know when we will need it. Unfortunately, taxes are a necessary evil but too much, a real burden. To put in laymen terms, It a taxing situation.
There are many thing to do to ensure a good life for the Americans ‘ people but giving a better break for the chosen few is not the way to go. The have and not the have not should bear this burden , District Two.

I'm sympathetic to your cause but I have a couple of questions.
First, as an Independent, you must be expecting to draw Democratic as well Republican votes. How can you assure us that you won't fragment the Democratic vote to a degree that your Republican opponent wins?
And, just how do you expect to appeal to Republican voters?
