They deserve the care

This is going to be a short address because if I stay too long on the subject, I might lose it.

The veterans, who are they? They are people from all walks of life who during their life, decide to serve their country or they were draft for the good of the country.

What do they deserved for their service/ Unless they were kicked out the service, they deserved all that should be coming to them: education, HEALTH Care, and respect for those who came back from war--World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, I forgot the names of some, and the Iraqi Wars. We can not forget the brave men and women. If you understand, you are not human. I got to go. Thank you.

From where I sit, it seems 3.5 out of the five people who actually read what's posted here.

Don't have any affection for Crum.

In my book that means crum must actually be saying something.

Cut and Paste exactly. So Tom, what is Crum saying?

The point is, you didn't know jack about Crum. But you found it to be an opportunity to try to yank some chains. You didn't investigate the history of William. AZ Moderate tried to explain it in a civilized way.

The point that we were making is that Clark was going to find it rough sledding if he had William as his spokesman/sidekick, and would be better off finding a different front man for his mission(s).

You found it an opportunity to stir up what you hoped would be trouble. And this is when you lost any credibility that you had left.

Your agenda became completely clear. Be a contrarian at any cost, even at the expense of your credibility. Kinda sad, really. You could be a reasonable contributor. Your choice is to punch first and then try to make your point. That approach will almost universally fail.

I have managed to distract you. You accuse us of being sidetracked from the "real issues" by petty conversation. Look at our exchanges over the last few days. You were distracted. This was not an accident on my part.

I am sorry;in my haste to get this printed, I left off some works. Let me redo this thought.

The poll should have read: Are you with me and believe that the veterans deserve this right? The right to be take care of;in otherwords, to get the right medical treatment as long as needed because of injuries received in your activie duty service.

We can not forget the brave men and women. If you can't understand this concept, you are not a human being.

I hope that explain the two parts of my post.

According to the American Legion and DAV the funding for Veterans is always short. Now is it because they have an agenda because they are Veterans Groups or is it because they actually believe that?

When you compare the Iraq "War" with the cost of 1000 dollars per second spent, anything spent on Veterans in this Country is trivial to that. In 1972 all 72 VA Hospitals and the Satellite Clinics were fully funded for operations needed at that time.

Since then operations have no doubt increased and more regional and satellite clinics built and the funding has been cut as compared to years ago. It's hard to imagine anyone complaining about the fraction of a national budget being spent on Veterans but people do. It is something politicians like to tout as one of their favorite agendas but the reality is they are sloughing.

Heck, the VA Hospital at 7th St and Indian School doesn't even have an official budget right now.

The VA has come a long way in quality of Health Care but there are still long waits to get in so that contributes to the overall negativity of the system.

Man, do I ever agree with TOM. I could care less about what someone thinks about my credibility also because everything I do is ethical and honest to me. If I ever ran for anything(NOT!), there is no way anyone could ever get me in their back pocket for favors, perks, or contracts or any kind of promotion for anything

I forgot to add that in 1972, a long time yes, all the 72 VA Hospitals and Clinics in the whole Country were ran and ran well for 16 billion. They were even giving travel pay at 28 cents per mile. So something is really off when the funding is even remotely a concern. As far as the 9 billion went up in smoke without a trace in Iraq, people may go "Yes, it happened but get over it" No, 9 billion totally lost and no accounting whatsoever is not easy to dismiss.

One thing about the Iraq war bothers me. Even though I wasn't there I have the opinion that how can people blame America for Al-quaida killing their own people to get us to leave? How does that make us responsible when roadside bombs are set off and their own people are killed by them?

It seems there is a problem with Bush's Concern for what is happening to our soldiers but the terrorists are being excused. They could give diddly squat about their Countrymen. I'm wondering if we were occupied if Americans would blow up Americans and justify it because we were occupied. Bush may be sick but Al Quaida and the Terrorist Muslims are sicker.
