Once upon a time America stood for something so important that the rest of the world wanted to be a part of it. Today, if you read this site, it stands for almost nothing. Sure, we all want peace on earth, goodwill towards men, and a happy ending, unfortunately there are those in the world who have watched this country fall from grace. The sad thing is, if you get your information from this site, you'd think they were right.
From the far reaches of an otherwise small world comes a site dedicated to the power of fear. Fear of a president who has a moral compass, fear that their freedom might be trampled on by a patriot act that has yet to strip a single citizen of a single right, fear that a Strong America is a Wrong America. The fact is, the american people have had their fill of your policies. We watched as over 6 trillion dollars was spent on the war on povery only to institutionalize the problem for generations. For 40 years the Democrats controlled congress and poured good money after bad to "solve" problems they only managed to make masticize. Thanks to a president who cut and run from Summalia, did nothing while an american naval ship was attacked and did little more than destroy an asprin factory in retaliation for another attack on americans, the american people today live with a certain amount of fear that the rest of the world has had to endure for decades.
Finally we elect a president who will stand shoulder to shoulder with our allies (of which there are more than 30 in Iraq) and fight the single greatest threat to our freedom and all liberals can do is stand in fear. Fear that the truth about their backwards, inspiration killing, dependancy driven, completely lack luster performing policies will finally be shown for the failure that they are. Yep, that's the world as we know it...today. Thanks Democrats, Liberals and all of you who have done so much to bring the conservatives of the country together with a common voice.
Now do us a favor, sit back, relax and enjoy as we fix the problems you have created or encouraged for way to many years. America can be better, now we will be.
The World as we know it.

Great post American. I'm very glad to see that I'm not the only conservative gracing this site. I agree about your point on the liberals and fear. They whine and cry about how the television broadcasts keep the American public in fear when in fact it's just a ploy to blind the public for their own political gain. Great things are happening now not only in the United States, but in the world, and we should be proud of our countries leaders for putting forth the effort to get the job done right.

A common voice of stupidity you mean!! Where is Bush's moral high ground? This war in Iraq has nothing to do with the attacks on America on 911. We were lied into it because there were no weapons of mass destruction, anybody remember that's what we went in there for? Nuclear(not nook-yoo-ler) weapons were in the possesion of Saddam Hussein and they could reach the United states in 45 MINUTES on the east coast,Remember?? WAKE UP conservatives! You have been sold a false bill of goods just like the rest of us!! In a way we were all gullible. I vote for the man Not necesarily the party. This is no REAGAN ADMINISTRATION!!!! Reagan had the guts to stand up to the American people and apologise about the Iran Contra affair,Remember? " My fellow Americans,I believed certain things about the contra's involvement with Iran that turned out not to be true, and for this I am deeply sorry". This Village idiot has shamed all of America with Corruption, lies, Deciet.cronyism and lack of compassion that makes Bill Clintons sexual escapade pale by comparision! No one died because of Bill having sex with someone other than his wife!! Do I like everything about Clinton's legacy? No, get us out of NAFTA!! What do Liberals I know want? How about some real border security? How about punishing companies for hiring illegal aliens? They would not be coming here if jobs were nor to easily available. Under the Clinton administration at least an effort was made to find some of these and penalise them for illegal buisniness practises. DONT RALK THE TALK IF YOURE NOT GOING TO WALK THE WALK!! Who are we? WE are buisnes profesionals, police officers, health care advocates and employees, laborers, gun owners and collectors, neighbors who want some leadership that is competent and realistic. None of this applies to Bush/Cheney no matter how it's spun. If you don't like the criminalisation of conservative politics, it's only because conservative politicians have been caught being dirty filthy criminal felons. Fits both sides. Priod. End of story.

Knight, I hate to tell you, but that's not the end of the story. Thanks in no small part to Clinton having sex with someone other than his wife, his administration was so preoccupied with covering up his otherwise minor indiscression, they did nothing about the rising tide of terrorism directed towards the United States. As I recall, Bush never said Saddam had nukes, he said we would hate to find out he had them by way of a mushroom cloud. Saddam had for many years prior to the arrival of Bush been trying to collect any kind of WMD he could get his hands on, including nukes (that info did not come from a Bush ran CIA, it came from a Clinton ran CIA, which others might have known had he not allowed for the now imfamous intellegence communication wall from being erected). And the 9/11 statement is also false. We did not go to Iraq strickly over 9/11 or WMD's for that matter. We went there to do what the U.N. could not, enforce the resolutions placed in effect by the U.N. against Saddam's regime. I might also remind you the the French and Russians stood against us, now we find out they were the primary benefactors of the U.N. Oil for Food Kickback Program. You must be pro-union because you hate NAFTA. Well you might enjoy the piece I did on unions too. Then there was you statement about the criminalisation of conservatism. That would be a great talking point if only it wasn't true. That's exactly what the left is trying to do. So if you are truely pro gun, cop and business, the way to correct what you feel is wrong is not to kick the conservative movement when you think you see a crack in it, (of which there is not), it is to be a strong advocate for strengthening those values you hold so dear. Continue to push for boarder control, it is desperately needed. As for the comparison of Bush to Reagan, you are right, he is no Reagan, but neither is he Clinton. He has a spine, he sticks to his ideals and rarely changes his course. But he can obviously be moved by a strong conservative showing as in the Harriot Myers case. Don't count this president among those lost to history just yet. A lot can happen in the next 39 months. The liberals said the same about reagan at this point in his presidency too, and even you speak of him with some bit reverence.
