The Voice of North America (VONA.com) is providing its members with another exciting opportunity. Starting the week of April 7th, the Monday before the Masters Tournament, members will be able to compete against one another in the VONA Cup Golf Challenge.

Like everything else on VONA.com, The VONA Cup Golf Challenge is FREE to enter. The tournament will last the entire season of the PGA Tour culminating with THE TOUR Championship presented by Coca Cola, the last tournament of the Fed-Ex Cup. There will be cash prizes and other awards handed out throughout the season.

How it Works

Each week entrants will pick 10 golfers that are scheduled to participate in the upcoming PGA Tour contest. At the end of each tournament VONA's custom scoring system will award VONA Cup points to each player based on their Official World Golf Ranking and their final placement in the tournament.

Every player that makes the cut will receive VONA Cup points. Each participant's 20 best weekly scores will count towards their final total. The person with the most cumulative VONA Cup points at the end of the season will be the winner.

2nd Place Total Points - $500
Weekly Total Points Winner - $100
Majors Total Points Winner - $200
All PGA Tour events that award Fed-Ex Cup points will be eligible for VONA Cup points (this includes dual weekend events like July 17-20, when the British Open and the U.S. Bank Championship are held simultaneously). All Major Championships, including the fifth unofficial major The Players Championship and the Fed-Ex Cup playoffs, will be worth more VONA Cup points than regularly scheduled tournaments.

The VONA Cup scoring system is designed to encourage participants to choose a variety of PGA Tour players from all levels. Picking the Top Ten players in the world each week will not earn the most points. Picking all underdogs is not a good strategy either. A mixture of top competitors, mid-level players and successful underdogs will be the most effective.

How You Can Get Involved

The VONA Cup Golf Challenge starts on Monday April 7 but you need to become a member at VONA.com. Once you have become a member you will receive contest updates and be reminded to make your selections as soon as the challenge begins. Custom VONA Cup Golf Challenge pools will be available for golf leagues, co-workers, or friends and family.
