Well, well, well, here we go again…

 

The Ununited, ineffective, pissing in the wind Nations has once again weighed in on a major world event and showed that it is ignored like the insanely inept organization it is. Unsurprised as I was that the U.K bothered to bring a request to them to get involved in the current Iranian show of insanity, I was surprised to hear that the Brits were unpleased with the result. I started thinking back to the 17 resolutions brought before the council against Iraq and thought to myself, “I hope the 15 Brits in captivity of the Iranians are prepared for the long haul”.

 

I am sure if I thought this the Iranian leadership has thought the very same thing. After the botched job the U.N. pulled off in Iraq with the Oil for Food Scandal, Somalia as it watched the country deteriorate before its very eyes, Darfur as millions have been slaughtered as it sat by and watched and even the Korean situation for the last 50 plus years as they were unable to make so much as a dent in the North’s militant testing of both medium and long range delivery systems, not to mention the countless other countries where they have been completely ineffective over the last 6 decades, I believe the Iranians are feeling pretty sure of themselves at least for the next oh, I don’t know, 10-15 years if we are waiting on U.N. muscle and or negotiation techniques to end this conflict.

 

Why do the leading countries of the world still act as though this body has any power to sway, end or in any way resolve this or any other major situation on this planet? It is as stupid as Rosie O’Donnell mouthing off her idiotic trap about how we should not fear the terrorist because they are mother and fathers just like us. Last time I checked none of us were strapping bombs on our kids and sending them to the market to blow up milk, eggs, a Jew and an infidel for good measure. This woman should run the U.N. because they are just as ass backward as she is. The U.N. like Rosie believe that you can sit and talk with people who believe you and I to be little more than enemies who must be defeated in the name of their God or at the very least forcibly converted at the threat of death.

 

What the hell is ABC and Barbara Walters thinking letting her spread completely unsubstantiated conspiracy theories over our public airwaves as though they are facts? She believes 9/11 and this latest Iranian violation of international law (again supposedly enforced by an organization that has about as much power a local high school glee club) should be compared to the Gulf of Tonkin incident in which the Johnson Administration is accused of lying about a second attack against the USS Maddox and Turner Joy Destroyers. The only problem with Ms. O’Donnell’s story is that while there is some debate as to whether the second attack occurred as Johnson said it did in his August 4th 1964 speech to the people, there is no debate over the first attack having happened two days earlier! We retaliated because we were attacked you ignorant unfunny comedian!

 

Both the U.N and Rosie, let me tell you how to live your life when mine is completely off the radar of normalized society O’Donnell are lost in the belief that they matter to some extent. They DON’T. Not only is Rosie dragging her new found home, The View, down with her, she is attempting to influence people opinion when she herself has not Goggled the subject herself because if she had, as she urged her watcher to do, she would have known that we were attacked; whether it happened on the 1st or 3rd of August 1964 isn’t really the point. But the U.N. has showed the world time and time again that it is powerless to do squat about any nations dealing with any other, let alone control the goings on within Iran, a secretive country that would cover Rosie’s face and put her to death for her self proclaimed sexual preference. Yet Rosie defends and the U.N. mildly denounces… Are you scared yet? I’m sure Iran is shaking in its collective boots…..

 

But what would I know; I’m just an Average American.
