I heard Leonard Clark call in to the Peter B Colin show today. At first it was to discuss what he always discusses when he finds a liberal outlet for his rants, the recall of Senator McCain. Now I am not here to debates the merits of McCain. I think I have made it quite clear that I have little use for the man and his brand of Repuberalism. He is an unfortunate individual for the right to have in office during the debates on Immigration and other key votes, hell he didn’t even come to the defense of the President he claims to support on the surge, instead talking to kids at a high school about abstinence. While a worthy subject, it could have waited oh say a couple of hours; they weren’t all going to lose their virginity that day should he have been late.
What set be back a bit was his mention of, “I’m here with my good friend William Crum an independent candidate …” and I don’t remember the rest because my head exploded.
I was on hold for Peter B Colins because he was taking calls about the McCain dis-likers from the right, but at that moment my mission changed. I wanted only to tell him that if Leonard Clark really wants to be taken seriously he should get to know the man he is obviously endorsing and take a few minutes to read the daily Crum here at VofA. This man was and still is for all intends and purposes the worse writer we have ever seen. Can I get an Amen?
Beyond that the man is just a bit unstable having proven that to a few of us one Saturday morning. MIC can back me up on this although the details are unnecessary.
In order to run a campaign you need to be able to run without regard to skeletons in your closet, and sometimes more importantly, skeletons in the closets of those you choose to surround yourself with. As I understand it Clark plans to r is already running for office against McCain. If the Crum is going to benefit by Clark’s election, I don’t care if Clark says everything my Conservative ears want to hear, it will be a no vote from me.
I don’t know how long this relationship between Clark and Crum has been going on. Most likely the Crum is a hanger on who thinks Clark can elevate him to a level of viability so that he might win a seat in the State House. I don’t know but I have my suspicions about Crum’s reasons for being involved with Clark and none of them are positive.
More than that, Clark seems so far anyway to be a one trick pony, but I have hopes for the guy. He might be a good candidate at some point. Whether for my side or not, it is always good to have an articulate person out in front. But the Crum is something of an anchor who will inevitably weigh even the best man down and could cause the drowning of a candidacy before it even gets out of port.
Mr. Clark, I urge you for your own safety and piece of mind, lose the Crum.
But what would I know; I’m just an Average American.

And there are many more. Take notice of the comments he made back them especially close and you can just see the deterioration into something resembling madness.

Digg It!

And I guess you missed William's post to you recently when he told you that if you wanted to talk with Leonard that you had to go thru William.
Leonard Clark seems to be articulate. I don't know enough about him at this point to say that I would be a supporter.
But on this we agree.............he needs to lose the William. It is akin to having Dick Cheney running for president and having George W Bush as his sidekick! Oh, wait.........s***, bad example.
