Where is the endorsement that counts? We hear constant talk about Obama and Hillary and their search for delegates and super-delegates. We heard as each endorsement came down. Kennedy, Edwards, The Oprah, Nicholson (that one's just funny) and the list goes on and on. As each endorsement placed more and more support behind the Democrat candidates we held our breath waiting for the next name to hit the pledge list of Supers or the support of a major player on the political scene.
The tension can be cut with a knife at times. California's Governor Arnold (not interested in getting his last name spelled right) goes to the GOP candidate, Mr. McCain while his wife (also a Kennedy) drops for Obama. It has come to a fever pitch now as we wait for the big one.
So who's the big one you ask? Osama Bin Laden. Since his rise to national prominence following the attacks on 9/11 Osama has involved himself in every major election we have had. Okay, not entirely true, Osama pretty much sat out 2002's congressional election but in 2004 he endorsed John Kerry for President. Kerry lost that race in the end.
In 2006 were we that surprised that the endorsement continued for the Democrats? His hope for impeachment dashed at this point, who will he endorse next?
Now we are in 2008 and the only Super Delegate with a total losing record is quietly waiting in a cave somewhere to see the cracks he needs to wedge himself in and pry the Democrats apart. Of course, as with all good Democrats he will probable wait until after the convention to endorse Hillary (who will probably win after rigging the election by forcing a re-do in Florida and Michigan). But what will that do to the program? How will she handle it?
Early in the primary she cried to get her way. Can she cry her way out of being seen as weak by the enemy? When she was a hurting puppy in the later post Super Tuesday primaries she got mad and mean. Can she be mean with Bin Laden after he calls her the best thing that can happen to his cause? And if by a long shot Obama gets the nod from the Democrats, can you imagine the headlines the next day, "Osama Obama Endorsement!"
Oh what power this man in cave on the other side of the world has over our elections. He endorses they lose. even after the so called victory in 2006 by Democrats it was losing deal for Bin Laden as these people continues to finance the wars he wants ended.
What does Osama use to weigh out his decision? I mean look at it from his point of view...
Hillary voted for the war, then claimed she was duped, then voted to fund the war, then said she would pull out the troops only to later reverse her words with additional votes to finance the war.
Does Osama feel akin to Obama because of Obama's father? Both Osama and Obama have Muslin fathers. Neither one talk to them any more. And we all know Obama was against the war before he voted for the war through funding prior to coming out against the war with his words once more later down the line.
Who does Osama trust, the talking Obama or the voting Obama? Or does he support the talking Hillary or the voting Hillary. Perhaps Osama, Obama and Hillary can all sit down and work this out prior to the convention. Part of Obama's preparation when dealing with world events. Is Osama tired of siding with losers yet?
At the end of the day it is Osama's endorsement we should be looking for.
All we can be sure of is who he will not endorse; John McCain.
But what would I know; I'm just an Average American.
Super-Delegate Osama

Mar. 10, 2008 at 11:28:47 PM Sorry, but OBL will endorse McBush. He has personally promised to never attack OBL or Al Queda in Pakistan. And that is what Al Queda wants, the safety and freedom to plot our destruction. So when the next attack comes, remember, John McCain kept the... View this Comment Nice try, but I don't see Osama changing parties. Obama and Osama? There's a ticket. |

And the guy who has pledged to never go after Al Queda in Pakistan is the one they are afraid of? |

| Any logical person - which counts out quite a few people on this site and one radio host - should take the fact that Osama bin Laden is still alive as colossal failure by the Bush administration and a total repudiation of the republican party. Your twisted logic says Bush is a benefactor of bin Laden, which I only hear from whispers on the fringes of the Left. So you put Bush and bin Laden in bed together and call yourself a right wing talk radio nut? Your credentials for this exclusive club should be revoked. |

| Democrats are going to be disappointed this year. Republicans tossed the bash Hillary ball into the crowd of Democrats and the Democrats, or at least half of them, ran with it. I am disappointed in the Democratic Party, especially since I've spent the last 7 years supporting their candidates and motivating friends and people online to vote for them in 2006. Now we may be stuck with Obama, a candidate who has done everything possible to upstage the better candidates and spit in the face of voters who have craved an experienced and capable leader. I will not vote for McCain but I will not vote for Obama either. In fact I intend to continue exposing him on the issues and the division he is creating within the Democratic Party based on the Iraq War, a war which he has gladly funded and supported alongside Bush when the political climate was suitable. His assault on the Clintons, the heroes of the Democratic Party, is astonishing and the anti-Clinton malaise he has cast over millions of Democratic voters through his hypnotic rhetoric is exactly what the Republicans wanted. So those of you who are saying Hillary is leaving Obama wounded for the Republicans, get it straight: Obama has tried to wound Hillary from the start and he's just as much responsible for a Republican winning this November as she is. Christ, he's attacking Hillary right from their crooked play book (50% of the country hates her / she's unelectable / she's too divisive). Yes, Democrats are going to be disappointed this year. |

| I don't even know where to begin. Your article is just STUPID. It doesn't base itself in any realistic train of thought. Its fictitious bulls*** that people like you try to put out in the atmosphere to distract thinking people. It doesn't work we just view it as ignorant rambling. Maybe you should spend more time reading books than writing articles. The truth hurts don't it. Dr. Truth |
