Our President, confused and out of his mind, forgot that he sang the Star Spangled Banner in Spanish to various hispanic groups, just for their votes in 2000.
Now he says it should be sung in English only. What a short memory, or maybe it's the early onset of dementia. Who knows what this guy thinks, he doesn't even know what he thinks.

Bush sang Star Spangled Banner en español during 2000 campaign!
"When visiting cities like Chicago, Milwaukee, or Philadelphia, in pivotal states, George W. Bush would drop in at Hispanic festivals and parties, sometimes joining in singing “The Star-Spangled Banner” in Spanish, sometimes partying with a “Viva Bush” mariachi band flown in from Texas."
So writes author Kevin Phillips in his book AMERICAN DYNASTY.
Last week, at the height of the illegal immigrant's boycott build up, Bush told reporters: "I think the national anthem ought to be sung in English."

Your first error in this post is not seeing what is happening qith the national anthem; When the President was singing it in Spanish, that was during a close, hotly contested election and he was pandering for hispanic votes. Now, he is in an even worse election and is only trying to hold 6 Senate seats and 15 house seats, and therefore needs to pander to only Republican immigrant hating, racists voters. Bella you're confusing being unprincipled with patriotic pandering.
The other error is thinking that Bush core voters will believe anything that doesn't fit their world view/frame of our Glorious leader. You say he sung it in Spanish, well you must be a liar. And just to prove it, the righties will light a cross in some beaner's yard to show their patriotism!
