This is America right?

We can still use cartoons to express ourselves right?

We are still a country that values discourse and political cartoons have long been a part of that, right?

This is the same country that once allowed a Christian Cross to be placed in urine and have it be called art, right?

This is the same country that once allowed the Virgin Mary's image to be covered in s*** and called art, right?

Ok with all that established...

Now in case you missed it last time around, a Danish newspaper ran this back in 2006 as satire. The Muslim community blew its collective top and lost it's freakin' mind.

Now the Danish paper is going to re-run the cartoon. Once again the Muslim World is going bat s*** crazy over it.

Well, we are in America, not on the Muslim street. This is an American site, not a Danish newspaper.

I support the use of this in the same way others support flag burning and pissing on the American flag, burning our President in effigy and placing a cross in a bottle of urine or throwing s*** on the Virgin Mary (and I'm not even Catholic).

The truth hurts, don't it.
