When we give our tax money to the military we are fighting somewhere against terrorism that might give some people freedom. Perpetual war, perpetual jobs, perpetual employment business for KBR, Blackwater and the private for profit military industrial complex. We call that National Defense.

And when we lower taxes and allow by deregulation huge loopholes for the wealthy, large corporations and giant banking conglomerates, we hopefully help them to trickle down jobs and economic security. We call that Capitalism.

When many others insist that our military be used mainly for defense of the nation, and that there be no profit taking from war, we are called unpatriotic and isolationist.

And when we raise taxes on large corporations, and the wealthy to employ people in necessary undertakings such as rebuilding infrastructure, energy and its transmission, efficient transportation of people and goods, it is called socialism.

So if we don’t want to pay any of those pesky surcharge taxes, we’ll just let the Chinese pay for now and our kids can pay it off later. Or grand kids.

Sure, we can just cut out all social programs that for a generation has kept 75% of senior Americans out of poverty, needy children off the streets, out of emergency rooms, keeps them fed, and in schools, unemployed folks whose jobs went off shore with the corporation we just gave all the welfare to, etc, etc, etc……..

…….if we can just cut out all of that “socialism” then… oops, get ready for another huge tax outa your pocket to pay for MORE police, and MORE emergency personnel to keep the riff raff off your lawn.

Or maybe just expand the military where socialism is OK.
