That piece of crap Joe Arpaio has really done it this time. That jackass used money seized from drug dealers and to help a struggling small island in Honduras.
What? You heard it. He took doper money and used it to HELP a small nation with a developing crime problem.
Are we seriously getting upset about this? Joe didn't take a penny from local country funds to make this thing happen. At least that the way it looks. Nobody is accusing him of using public funds for this outside of paying his people's salaries. So what. And it was $30,000.00. Joe took $30,000.00 and trained 167 new Honduran police. If he could do that here it would be great, but he can't.
Look I don't support everything Joe does. He has gotten our collective county ass sued more times than I can count. But Saban and others are getting pissed because he was helping brown people in a tropical paradise. If he would have sent people to North Dakota to help a small local police force would they be as pissed? Probably not.
What a bunch of brown skin hating tight asses. We are the richest country in the world, we are told this all the time. We hear that we should be reaching out to the world to help them, train them in all sort of environmental bulls***, we should be feeding the poor around the world and making the world a better place. Joe does it and finances it with drug money and he is demonized?
What a joke. This is a witch hunt. There are plenty of things to get pissed about that Joe has done, but this is the exact thing the left asks us to do.
Another thing about this that gets to me is that Saban claims that people are dieing in prisons in Aguila and that people are arming themselves because there isn't enough police. I ran that through google over and over and found nothing about it. I found one article from the feathered bastard (it's a site not an insult) claiming the same thing. What the hell is that?
Like I said, there is plenty to get pissed about concerning Joe, this isn't one of them. He helped people, and paid for it with drug money. What a Bastard huh...?
But what would I know; I'm just an Average American.

| I have heard all about this story and it just amazes me that he can get away with so much stuff. AA, this is just another, in a long line of dumb things that Sheriff Joe has done! Fist of all, I really want to know how he can ask his department to use equipment until it falls apart and then be able to send these guys down there for fun in the sun! I agree with Indie on this one. If the money was seized by the Maricopa Sheriff's Department, why send it back to Honduras? Why not by more equipment for the department? Secondly, does he really have the authority to be going on such a program. Isn't that more the duty of the State Department? I just see Sheriff Joe out there being the bigger then life persona that he has developed doing exactly what it is that he wants to do no matter what. Granted, this is not the biggest atrocity that he has delivered to this County, but it is just another thing that adds to the pile. I just wonder how the voting public can put up with his ways! |

| Of all the crap Sherriff Joke has pulled that is reason enough to throw him out, this is near the bottom of the list. I don't have a problem w/ him using seized equipment and money to train Honduran Police. I have a problem w/ him using MCSO officers to torture and kill inmates. I'm worried that the training in Honduras is being done by the same sadistic bastards.

It's not to take a vacation. Can you at least get your lips off their butts and come back to reality? I forgot, you don't know what reality is because you still think(and I use that term loosely) George is doing a good job. Then again, you never served and put it on the line.

I'm obviously a trader to this country, as is Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton as they never served either. "Girls, he brings up girls" denounces William. Your right, let's expand the list to include: Bill Richardson, Harry Reid, Bill Clinton, John Edwards, and a few other former Presidents like Van Buren, John Adams, John Quincy Adams, Taft, Hoover, Woodrow Wilson and my all time favorite trader to America by not serving in the military, FDR. Why didn't he spend the money here in the USA? We have our own crime problems?
Also, I hear that the ole Joe is way over budget. What is with you Republicans and money? You just can't spend it fast enough.....
