The best thing in a band is always the one guy who is convinced that he's the real star of the group. Casting aside conventional wisdom like 'the lead singer is the one everybody watches' or 'guitar solos should focus on the guitarist', they take every opportunity to pout, star-jump and pelvic-thrust their way into the audience's attention, convinced that they're the throbbing heart of the group despite the fact that they only play the triangle. It's the sort of behaviour that sees otherwise competent bands inserting extended bass solos into songs 'just to keep Gavin happy'.

While it may be irritating for other band members, musically disastrous and frequently painful to watch, we love them for it, because it's funny. And on that basis, this drummer is the best drummer who has ever lived:
