What does Dr. Truth and other Obama supporters think about this video?

This is from the Huffington Post: "Video of Rev. Jeremiah Wright, pastor and mentor to Barack Obama, has been posted. The Reverend defends his most famous constituent and attacks Hillary Clinton, saying, 'Hillary ain't never been called a n****r.'"

Looks like the racists have some momentum. Go ahead and try to defend this one. Keith Olbermann better have one of those famous Special Messages to address the connection between Barack Obama and his racist mentor and FRIEND Rev. Jeremiah Wright from the racist black power church in Illinois.

The best line: "Jesus was a poor black man who lived in a country and who lived in a culture that was controlled by rich white people." HA HA HA HA!

wow i didnt know jesus was black... oh wait he wasnt, he was a middle easterner, a middle eastern jew.

thats quite a connection there romans>italians>europeans>whites which is funny because the term guinea (referring to dark-skinned italians) comes from the fact that they were from the guinea coast of africa. interesting.

After watching Jeremiah it makes me want to contribute about a million of hard earned dollars to McCain. I can't even imagine this guy preaching to our president or counseling him on matters of the heart.

If you noticed he did use nigger in his sermon and probably uses it all the time for he believes Jesus was one. This is going to be entertaining to see how this whole thing plays out whether or not Ochocolate wins or looses.

My immediate questions is; will Obama go in front of the white media and community and apologize, fire and reject Pastor Wright? Hey, Hillary had to go in front of the "black media" and apologize for Ferraro. This IS a double standard to me; but of course we all know that Obama is "off limits". I'm so sick and tired of white people having to go in front of the cameras and apologize to Sharpton, the NAACP and the black communities. I want Obama to apologize and FIRE this racist!

Jeremiah Wright, Obama's pastor for the last 20 years at the Trinity United Church of Christ on Chicago's south side, has a long history of what even Obama's campaign aides concede is "inflammatory rhetoric," including the assertion that the United States brought on the 9/11 attacks with its own "terrorism."

UPDATE: Politico points out that Wright actually holds a formal position with Obama's campaign:

Wright is a member of Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee -- the sort of largely honorary, advisory body that in recent days has recently been used mostly to throw people off who say controversial things.

The Obama campaign couldn't immediately say whether he'd remain on the committee.

He talks like William spells, but anyway...

Well, two and a half out of three ain't bad. He is half white, he is rich (otherwise how do you by a 1.6 million dollar house) and having graduated from Harvard gives him privlije.

But this guy isn't a racist because he can't be one... He's black.

But I shouldn't even comment, I'm white, I'm rich and I'm privileged. All this can be yours too if you are just born the right skin color.

Otherwise you are at the bottom of the heap, just ask Oprah, Bob Johnson, Donald Watkins, Tiger Woods (he might not count, he's half) Russel Simmons, Sheila Johnson, John Johnson, Catherine Hughes or the late Reginald Lewis. none of whom came from privilege but made their money by working their asses off. All were or are Black and most are older so they lived through the racism of the past yet accomplished incredible results.

So Dr Spin,

How did slavery adversely affect these people?

Why did they succeed and so many other don't, or any color?

Just who the hell do we blame?

And to Rev. Wright...

Why did the Rich White People let these ones slip through?

Where is the motivation?

If Rich White People control everything, certainly we would have stomped these people out at some point. Or do you think they were just too sly to get our attention? I'm pretty sure we have Oprah in our Official List of Darkies to watch out for.

You (American Black Leadership) are the most racist people I have ever seen in my life, and I've known a few.

What do I think?

I think I'm sick of politics in a tax exempt place of worship, whether they are extolling the virtues of a Republican or a Democrat. I can't stop every idiot with a microphone from getting up and making an inflammatory speech, but we can stop political speech in a place of worship by letting them pay the same taxes that every other non-charitable institution pays.

But didn't Rev. Wright baptize Obama, and perform his marriage? How could Obama NOT be infected by his anti-American hatred? Well, need I remind you that Obama, according to Fox News, is a rabid Muslim schooled in his America-hating ways at an Indonesia madrassa. I don't think he was affected much by a Christian American infidel.

Jesus or Yeshua was most likely racially of the type of Middle Eastern of Levant, and possibly Ethiopian or even Arab. The region was the Old Worlds' crossroads, from Asia-Africa-Mediterranian, lots of sailors, soldiers, merchants rolling though. From WIKI***

As for the rich, white and privilijed, the Rev was referring to how Sen Obama grew up. His mom was a poor, white, divorced single mother. His riches, and privilege has come from his hard work, education, and ability.

Wright is on Obama's African American Religious Leadership Committee. Should he be fired? Muslim, Christian whatever, lets have the same standards for everyone. Wright's rhetoric is well known, so how could it be that the church Obama has attended for 20 years not have influence in the way he thinks?

Here is where is agree with you MIC; this church should start paying their fair share of taxes.

I'm eargerly awaiting for Obama's apology and Wrights termination. By the way, does anyone know if Obama went in front of the cameras to apologize for Samatha Powers remarks?
