SUBJ: Racist Remarks at VoNA
BAA Boy, aka Average American, posted the following comment at the VoNA address as noted:
So the next time you want to through a question out there about experience, go right ahead. McCain has it in spades, whereas you simply have a spade.

Does the BAA Boy, who's often boasted of enjoying special dispensation because of his affiliation with the owners and operators of VoNA, enjoy the right to call Barack Obama a spade with impugnity?
I don't care if BAA Boy's comment wherein this racial epithet occurs is thoughtful, compelling and worthy (it isn't), this slur so thoroughly contaminates his remarks as to render them irrelevant! These two sentences show us just how vile and antisocial the VoA Poster Boy is and it refects poorly on all contributors as well as the VoNA management and staff!
I believe Degaselli's recent post containing the term "nigger" has been removed and I would request the BAA Boy's comment be removed also.
And, I would hope he'd be told in no uncertain terms that such remarks have no place on this website!
Thank you!
A Jab at Hillary? Sexism? My post on "Why is this still allowed if everyone wants equality for all"? makes this example below and of BAA's comment perfectly clear. Would you want it removed if something similar came from a Black or Brown or oriental? You probably wouldn't even bring it up.
This is perfectly clear why no "political correctness" of "Black power" chantings or "proud Latino" or references to Blacks in a derogatory way publications should be allowed.
Thanks for proving my point of the whole thing.
Because also to Phaedrus, this was not a threat to me. This was not a threat to Blacks what BAA said. .This is also the principle of the thing. How sweet it is!
Obama's 3 AM Text Message: Jab at Hillary?
Barack Obama didn't pick Hillary Clinton as his running mate. No surprise here. But the timing of his announcement -- early Saturday morning at 3 a.m. -- has some in the Clinton camp downright angry. The tea leaves have been clear: Obama was not going to pick Hillary. In a slap in her face, Obama announced that he was making her fired campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, as the chief of staff for his new running mate.
Obama had claimed he was vetting Hillary for the job and that she was on the short list of his potential picks. But that charade became apparent when he never asked her for financial or other documents typical of the vetting process.
Some in the press saw another Obama jab at Hillary when his campaign released the text message to cell phone users announcing the Biden pick at about 3 a.m. Saturday morning.
It was Hilary's campaign that aired a TV commercial questioning whether Obama could answer the phone at "3 a.m." if some crisis erupted in the world.
Hillary has taken these hits from Obama with grace. She issued a statement via her email list Satuday congratulating Biden.
"Joe is a friend and colleague, a strong experienced leader and a devoted public servant. I look forward to not only seeing him in Denver next week but on the trail as I work to help Barack Obama and Joe Biden along with many other Democratic candidates campaign this fall."
