If we are to believe the adage that actions speak louder than words I am sure many of you Global warming freak shows will be rightfully discussed with what I share with you next.
Night before last President Obama came to Sin City, but the sin he committed was against Mother Earth. He landed Air Force One at McCarren Airport, the real airport here in Las Vegas, and was rushed to Caesar's Palace for a fund raiser for Harry Reid. As if that was not harmful enough to Mother Earth, he then had his Air Force One flown 10 miles away to Nellis Air Foce Base, the site of the following days speech on something he probably won't follow through on or he will attack with his overkill mentality.
Now I was trying to figure out why he would do wuch a horrible thing to the planet? I understand that his Presidential Pimp Mobile only get 6 miles to the gallon with all the armour plateing and the other vehicles the Secret Service use don't get any better fuel economy and I know that the support plane that carries the limo's and specially made SUV's probably landed at Nellis anyway the night before (I would be even more shocked if it was Air Force One and a support plan of two that were re-located in the night). But a Boeing 747 has to use more fuel on take off than all these vehicles combined, even with the mobilizing of the local police force to secure The Evolver's route, thereby dumping tons and tons of that horrible carbon dioxide into the atmosphere and chocking our planet and her inhabitants to death slowly.
And we are talking 10 miles. He already jacked up traffic once to get to Nellis, why not jack it up again to get the 10 miles back to the plane instead of closing down not one airport but two and not once but twice? Was he factoring in the cars waiting for him to pass? I can too. and then I will facotr in the jet fule being burned to keep all those other planes in the air while they wait for The Evolver's plane to do its thing again and again.
If the President of the United States, the top saleman for the MMGW farce is not willing to sacrifice just a little, then where will we fine the will to do any different?
Why, I'm starting to think he may not be all that interested in the environment at all, but instead would just like ot make us suffer as he forces us into smaller cars made by foreighn governments as he closes the american Auto makers down one at a time.
Its a sad day when liberals get double crossed by their choosen leader. I will make myself available to council any of you in need.
But what would I know; I'm just an Average American.

| I'm not sure what is funnier, the absurd premise of this article, or the fact that you expect us to be "rightfully discussed" by Obama's use of Air Force One and a presidential motorcade. You have a real Archie Bunker like command of the English language AA. Actually, Obama had intended to rideshare the road trip to Las Vegas with the Blue Man group in a Ford Escape, but that car was in the shop for a brake job and Michelle was using the electric moped to visit an organic garden in Rockville MD. He was standby on a USAir coach flight from Dulles to McCarren via SLC, but that flight was full. What's a President to do! |

I hope you "fine" the will to do something different. Yeah, we all make mistakes but this was just AA pounding out some crap because he no longer has anything of substance to say. I believe counselor type folks call that "lashing out." Pathetic really. |

I never claimed that typing was my strongest skill. You got me good you hardassed literary geniuses. Enough said about that. Back to the hypocritical topic at hand. I would think it would bother you to some degree seeing as your man isn't practicing what he preaches, is harming the environment for his own selfish reasons and most of all, is wasting money on both double security for two airports, the down time for the passengers coming and going on a regular work day, the lost revenue from them not producing, and the money on the fuel which we can't afford because we owe the Chinese every dollar we are frivolously pissing away on his stimulus package and a massively bloated budget. But go ahead and attack me for some spelling errors. Oh, and before you drop back and punt with the money Bush spend, I was against it from the start no to mention, he isn't in office anymore. By the way, thanks for equating the loss of life in Iraq to nothing more than words erased on the internet. I'm sure those families of the men and women lost will be happy that their loved ones lives aren't diminished. Real patriotic Indie. |

Ye Gads!
This is worse than starting an un-necessary war against a country that didn't attack us based on false and cherry picked intelligence using false tortured confessions and not giving our soldiers the necessary equipment for such war resulting in the deaths of 4000 plus Americans, untold civilians and pissing off our allies and reducing our standing in the world!
