Prison guards in Florida tried their best to act like Major League Baseball players did in the 1990's. Too bad the guards didn't know to stop the orgies, steroid dealing, and in-game softball promotions when a new commish/prison secretary came to town, now most of them are joining the inmates they once lorded over.
If only Bud Selig had been replaced by a straight shooting, former drug czar like James McDonough MLB wouldn't still be hashing out the steroid scandal.
Apparently McDonough's predecessor, James Crosby (now in jail for accepting bribes), let the guards run wild on taxpayer's dime. Softball games became so huge that steroids were routinely doled out and promotions were given to guys who did the best Bash Brothers imitation. The post-game festivities were usually wild orgies at a house on the beach built by FLA taxpayers. Uh, chicks dig the long ball, but now the only balls the former guards are dealing with...(insert joke here).
