Lets get one thing straight.
I or you should not care whether anyone in Washington is a Democrat or Republican.
Don't you understand it's us against them. They're all corrupt and until you get that through your pea head we will continue to be in this mess we are in.
You're actually assisting in the destruction of America when you elect or vote for ANY official that is not upholding the constitution.
Hell even Osama bin Laden tell us this, "The American government is leading the country towards hell. ... We say to the Americans as people and to American mothers, if they cherish their lives and if they cherish their sons, they must elect an American patriotic government that caters to their interests not the interests of the Jews"
Now do you understand?
You got these pompous asses (elected officials) running around Washington like they are some kind of rock stars and Patriots are about to put an end to this, "If ever time should come, when vain and aspiring men shall possess the highest seats in Government, our country will stand in need of its experienced patriots to prevent its ruin." - Samuel Adams
From now on....never, ever, refer to someone's political party because it makes no difference anymore.
Do you think I would vote for Mccain just because he is a republican..Yea right, the guys a complete sellout on immigration with his Guest (slave) Worker Program and he should be thrown out of office.
Guest slave workers are not needed and it may actually be unconstitutional.
I know it's not a smart idea to flood America with millions of non-citizens running amuck through our streets just because we want our lawn mowed.
Will you please stop saying a Republican did this or a Democrat did that.
It's about what is good for our America and our duty to honor the constitution. Anything else is just useless partisan garbage.

I, for one, am partisan. Not because I don't believe that it is all about the Constitution - of course I do. But because at this moment we only have to viable choices to make at election time: Republican or Democrat. Republicans aren't what they used to be, with few exceptions. Democrats are looking more conservative than ever when it comes to the Constitution, specifically the Bill of Rights.

Now I will choose my man (or woman) based on their ability to do the job, and the views they express. On occasion that will mean voting for the other party; but as the parties become more and more polarized, that possibility is becoming less and less likely.
To some extent, they are, as you suggest, all corrupt. Such is the filth of politics today - it is hard to play and not get dirty. But to a large degree, Republicans have mastered corruption, and will turn a blind eye to its presence in their ranks. Democrats are not immune, as Jefferson demonstrates, but at least the Democrats expunged him from their own ranks.
It is the lesser of two evils until that day when a third party becomes viable and truly upholds the Constitution. For now, however, I will continue with the "partisan garbage" as usual.
