Ok, I really had no intention of watching this thing tonihgt, but I did. I feel like crap and have been fighting a cold, courtesy of my great nephew during our trip to Cali last weekend, so I was just sitting around on my ass anyway.

I missed the first half hour, so if something I write here is at odds with the first half hour, you'll let me know I am sure.

I like it so far. I am not sure what all the hubbub was about. I know a few scenes are not exactly on target with the factual evidence but the running of the "it ain't all true" trailors throughout should make that clear to any watcher.  I am disappointed that could not find an uglier actress to play Secratary Allbright (sp) but they did the best they could. And I like the Richard Clark character, although I loved that guy as Jimmy James and as Stuart on Office Space, an excellent rental if any of you have missed it. Donny Walberg is still working and it's nice to see him doing so after the death of his boy band. They sucked as a band, but the guy can act, oddly so can his brother, Mark.

On to the topical stuff about this Docudrama, bulls***adrama or whatever you view it as. I think it is a good enough portrail of what happened or what might well have happened if we had all the facts. The 9/11 commision report certainly does not have all the facts in it, there is mush clandestine work that must have been done that is yet to be declassified, so I am giving it a solod 7 for viewing.

Now I do have one question, I heard that the show was going to say that Allbright told the Pakistanis about the missle strikes coming, but in the show she made mention of a General giving them the info, although it was not specified whether it was pre or post launch. Either way, Clinton probably should have let them know something so they wouldn't think it was coming from India, just seems prudent to me, despite the Pakastani connection with the Taliban. If they had thought is was from India and responded, that would have been a bad thing. Did they change this scene due to the pressures of former Clinton staff or is this the original way it was done, just asking because the pre-show babble said something different.

I think they are making Burger look like a puss. I don't know that much about him personally, but I hope to God he wasn't as skiddish as they show him to be. I also notice they skipped over the Kole (sp) entirely, that's sad, it was an attack just like the embassies were.

There are probably alot of things I should be seeing that the Nyquil is hazing up for me, but I am sure you will fill me in on my errors if they exist. I am trying ot identify the character that Harvey Kitel (sp) is supposed to be, I missed his initial entrance into the story, who is he again?

He seems to be hot and heavy on getting Bin Laden allong with the Donny Walberg character. Anyway, I think is a good show as long as people take it for what it is, not a History Channel presentation.

But what would I know; I'm just an Average American.
