Here is a man that is so liberal and his rhetoric is so far removed from his record. Walter Mondale promised higher taxes and lost, George McGovern promised a weaker military and lost, Michael Dukakis promised a liberal domestic agenda and lost. Yet Obama is promising all of those things and is leading in the polls.

In the summer Obama talked about invading Pakistan who is armed with nuclear weapons and meeting without preconditions Mohmoud Ahmadinejad, who vows to destroy Israel and create the next Holocaust: and Km Jong II, who is starving and murdering his own people, and Obama emphasized that the nuclear option is off the table against terrorists-something no president has ever done since we created nuclear weapons in the 1940's. Even Democrats that have worked in national security condemned all of his remarks.

Next is his economic policy. Clinton as well as Bush have made more goods affordable with free trade agreements so that even people of modest means can live a life that no one imagined a generation ago. Obama's plan promises  to raise taxes on the rich. How to fix Social Security? - Raise Taxes.How to fix Medicare? Raise Taxes. Prescription Drugs? Raise Taxes. Free College? Raise Taxes. Socialize medicine? Raise taxes. His solution to everything is to have government take it over. Big Brother on steriods funded by your paycheck.

These are just some of Mr. Blackwell's views that the Eagle agrees with.
