All of the information below I read on a national news site and are real comments made by people in our government.

WASHINGTON-- The former chairman and vice-chairman of the 9/11 commission warned Sunday that the nation is ill-prepared for another terrorist attack.

Kean expressed concern over U.S. efforts to secure nuclear sites. On that front, he said, there has been "some progress," but "not enough."

"We're talking about doing it in 14 years; nobody thinks we have 14 years," he said.

Al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden "has said he wants to use nuclear weapons to attack the United States. So that's got to be a much higher priority. We should be able to do that in two or three years, if it's on top of the priority list."

Lets see he used our airplanes as missles do you think he might try the same with our power plants.

Lee Hamilton, the committee's Democratic vice-chairman, predicted another attack will occur -- "It's not a question of if" -- and said the nation is not "as well-prepared as we should be."

The bipartisan panel plans to issue a report Monday assessing the federal government's response to the recommendations it made last year.

The group was created by Congress in 2002 to investigate aspects of the terrorist attacks on September 11, 2001. It released its final report with a slew of recommendations in a nearly 570-page book in July 2004.

Tom Kean, the Republican chairman of the committee, said" that enacting the changes is "not a priority for the government right now.

"A lot of the things we need to do really to prevent another 9/11 just simply aren't being done by the president or by the Congress.

"What we're concerned about now is that these recommendations, more than four years after 9/11, are still not being done. People are not paying attention to them."

After reading the comments from these guys don’t you just want to throw up. Thats all they do is write 500 page reports and spend our tax money. Then tell us it will take 14 years to protect our nuclear power plants. Come on....Im sure if they wanted they could secure a power plant in a week. If the president comes to Arizona security is done to make sure he will be safe from the airport to hotel to where ever he might end up. A power plant isnt mobile its stationary so whats so hard about protecting it.

I like these guys who say "not if but when’’ like they are rocket scientists or something. If there is another attack on our country all of these so called decision makers should be replaced with people who can make a real decision now and not worry if its right or wrong. I believe more can be lost by indecision than a bad one.

I guess 14 years isnt that long to wait.
