I listened to about 15 minutes of one of the many average american radio shows! Once will be enuf! Nothing against A.A. personally, but I have already had to listen to that crap for 6 years already! A.A. should be trembling in his German issued WWII army boots though `cause Newcomb is pretty sharp (sounds like he's thinks quick on his feet)! And while I personally do not want to be on the radio . . . There must be other options, than this same persona over and over and over again. And while I know he might bask in the small fame of this site (there is never a time when he isn't on the front page) and radio . . . Watch out my conservative friend . . . because over time they are gonna make you their palooka of phoenix neo conservatism (maybe). . . Good luck though.

| Maybe, just maybe it will enlighten AA about the true realities, (not neo-con so called reality) of the war. Is it possible to guide AA through the smoke and mirrors of the right and into the light of day?

| Newcomb is sharp? You have got to be kidding!!! Although I agree that he is like Ed Schultz, he engages all, and unlike most Liberals who feel they have unlimited rights to assail Bush but Conservatives can never assail a Liberal. That is the one thing I admire about him. He is easy to relate to but I don't beelieve he is aware of the intricate details of the world. Unlike Stephanie Miller did and Randi Rhoads, who is constantly interrupting her callers Mike does have manners. The last day on his job at Radio Station 1100 AM on April 1st last year he said he was handed a memo by management about things were going to change. You could tell by the way he was saying things he was unhappy. It did go Conservative. I got through at 3:30PM just before work and asked John the engineer if this wasn't an April Fools Joke. John said "No man, he is dead serious. I said "John, you know he is going to walk don't you? He walked out the next day. |

| L&C, Are you talking about AAR-Phoenix going off the air on 1010am KXXT at the end of February this year, the station having been replaced by a Christian format? Is that what you refer to, because once again, it is difficult to tell? And you think that Mike Newcomb isn't sharp? |

| I take it back. I didn't know about Mike Newcomb's history prior to joining KXXT 1010am, so your account of his departure is presumably correct. What does it have to do with your insult to him, suggesting that he is not quick witted?

| L&C, Duh! On air talent in radio moves when formats change. A Rock and Roll DJ wouldn't stay on if the format changed to Christian / Gospel or a rightie talker stay if format changed to hip-hop. People work where their talent is best suited. |

| No, it was when he was on the air on the same station as Bob Mohan and Richard Humhpries and who ever else was there on different time slots. It was, I believe April 1st of last year. Him and Bob Mohan had gotten in to it with each other and shortly after that the station went conservative only. Didn't know I had to provide excruciating details cause I don't remember them all. Mike Savage and a few other undesirables came on later.. I can't remember the pattern of all the stations cause I have listened to them all. KFYI when it was 910 with Barry Young, is now 620, and so forth. I just thought it was an April Fools joke but then the callers were calling in complaining about the way the station was going and how Mike was being treated. Why I called to suggest that it was a April Fools joke I don't know because he was trying his best to stay cool but you could tell he was digging at management in between the things he was saying. I am not insulting him. He is naive to me, as a lot of others tend to be. What I am impressed with here is the fair and neutral impartiality of tens against AA. Tis funny to watch. |

| L and C. I know this is only a LIB fact, but Young is on 550. Maybe in your Lib and Con world he floats between 620 and 550. |

| "I am not insulting him. He is naive to me, as a lot of others tend to be." That does it. For you, with you veritable potpourri of thoughts and tangled synaptic connections, to be calling Mike Newcomb and all us poor misguided liberals on this site naive is irony beyond compare. I am calling you out L & C. Come on the air with me during the VofAZ Show and explain again why liberals are naive and have it all wrong. Please, set me straight for the world to see. |

| Yikes spots! Where ya been, Prometheus? Ya gotta do something about those (maybe)'s in your predictions. With Laura pressing the flesh that hold the wallets in PHX tonight and BAA Boy bleating on the airwaves tomorrow, there's no (maybe) in Kyl's future. With friends like that he doesn't need enemies! Bring'em on! Lib and Con, you're truly as refreshing as the pure and innocent spring flowers with "...unlike most Liberals who feel they have unlimited rights to assail Bush but Conservatives can never assail a Liberal." Is that the rule in LibnConland? Is every day April 1 there? I think you'd be a better match for the BAA Boy than Mike OR Mickey! |
