This week congress votes to support our troops.  Murtha's bill to put a timetable on the Iraq war is a desperately needed first step.  If passed, the bill will certify that our service members have the training and equipment necessary for their missions. It forces the Iraq government to meet benchmarks.  But most importantly, it sets a timetable.  What's the word for something like that?  The word is "plan."  And most Americans are not divided on the issue of a plan for our service members who are giving their lives for our country.  It's the least we can give them.  It is Bush who is divided from the rest of the country on the issue, a very lonely place.  One man.  One veto pen.  No plan. 

I wonder what John McCain will do.  Will he vote?  Or will he be campaigning like the AZ Rep reported he was for the last vote on the issue?
