Congratulations to Mr. Mitchell and Ms. Giffords, all those who worked on their campaigns, AND all those who voted for them.  You helped restore a balance of power, and, hopefully, some sense back into Congress.  It also helps when I communicate with friends and relatives outside of Arizona that I can prove we are not as red a state as they often assume ("Clinton, 1996" used to be the only thing I could drop on them).  We re-elected a Democratic, woman governor, and now have a 4-4 split in Representatives.  I would wish for more, but hey . . . it's progress . . .
