Will someone please explain how sitting in the cockpit of a fighter over North Vietnam qualifies McCain for POTUS?
Aerial combat is tactical. Leading the nation is strategic. That is the difference between fighting to take the beach and planning the D-Day invasion.
How many invasions has McCain planned?
A successful fighter pilot is a successful tactician. Either that or that pilot ends up getting shot out of the sky. But being a tactician, successful or not, is not experience for the strategic worldview required of the POTUS!
Will someone paleeeze explain how McCain has the necessary experience to lead our nation? Anyone??

Of course a corporal by the name of Adolph came out of the trenches of World War I and led the Third Reich to annihilation. I guess he had the experience to lead – or at least he and enough arrogant dupes thought so.
Interestingly, Hitler never got past his “in the trenches” tactical mindset. He insisted on micromanaging his generals, getting ever more involved in details as he led the German people down the road to Hell.
Experience does count – both ways. It can be a straight jacket in someone set in their ways and convinced by their own propaganda.
