I want to approach this from a completely non-politically slanted point of view. Some of you will laugh, and with some reservations read the rest. Whatever.

Here's the point of this article right up front, if you don't vote you can't bitch.

I vote the way I do and that's my right, just as you have yours. But those of you who do not vote are letting us rule your life. You might not like my ideas about how your life will be ran and I know I sure as hell won't like some of the plans those others out there who do vote have in mind. Another thing, if I ask you your opinion on something and you didn't take the five minutes to vote, either by absentee or in person, then I really don't give a damn that you are unhappy with the outcome.

All around the world there are millions of people who get no say at all in what their government does in their supposed name. Here, for all our faults, we have the right to speak and the right to vote. If you want a change, make an overwhelming vote appear. Go tell your friends and neighbors that on voting day you are driving the "voters van" whatever you want to call it and get their asses down there. Registration is great, but if people don't show to vote, we all lose. I am tired of hearing how Bush stole the election. (this is where I prove I am really trying not to sound politically slanted here) If you think that, then turn out the vote for your guy, don't let the next one be that close. A blow out almost never ends with finger pointing.

How you vote is your personal business, if any of you who are registered to vote need a ride on election day, and I really do not care how you intend to vote, let me know. I will come get you and take you there so you can have bitching rights for the next 2,4,6 years and beyond.

As for the way we vote, I believe with every fiber of my being that every single vote must have a paper trail. Each and every vote, should any irregularity even begin to rear its ugly head, must be available for a hand count. I have no problem with the machines, so long as the ballot is not destroyed in the process. It must be made available for recount, period. I am hearing from some that this is not the Republican slant on this subject but it should be the Democrats, Republicans, Libritarians, the Greens and every other party out theres slant on the subject. I do not wat to hear again how one party rigged s***. If we win I hope we win huge and if your side wins I hope the same. There should be no dispute. But by God if there is, I want a recount of paper ballots, every hang chad, every filled in line, every citizens VOTE, PERIOD.

This is not a left right issue, this is an American issue that is far more important than any other we face s a nation. Prove your'e an American and cast your vote. Have you I.D., it's the law, and vote your way.

But remember, if you don't vote you have no room to bitch if you don't like the outcome.

But what would I know; I'm just an Average American. Hell you know how i'm going to vote, get off your ass and cancell me out, because I can damn sure tell you I am getting everyone out there that I can.
