The Republican National Committee is afflicted with a variant of Kyl's Brain Rot - a misogynistic disorder peculiar to Conservative GOPhers.

If you recall, RNC Chairman, Michael Steele, triggered a near-insurrection last March by suggesting in an interview with GQ magazine that abortion was an "individual decision".

That breach of GOPher etiquette, protocol and party platform (plus, apparently, God's will) brought immediate screams for Steele's scalp - despite his high-vis position as the freshly-selected, first black RNC Chair.

Steele recanted, with a re-reversal claiming he was pro-life, "always had been, always will be"  which satisfied all but his racist critics that he absolutely and categorically opposed permitting a woman to decide what's best for her heart, her body and her mind!

Once burned, twice shy?

Yesterday, Steele learned from a Politico magazine article that the RNC's employee benefits package provided a Cigna health policy which covered elective abortion.

By the end of the day, Steele had ordered the coverage canceled and. reading from a prepared text, stated for all to hear:  "Money from our loyal donors should not be used for this purpose!  I don't know why this policy existed in the past, but it will not exist under my administration. Consider this issue settled."

Come the revolution, perhaps Michael Steele and Senator Kyl will be compelled to undergo treatment for their disorder - regardless of whether or not they possess insurance coverage.

It would be the humanitarian thing to do!
