If Jon Kyl is one of the best ten senator, then why in the hell has the money for homeland security for Phoenix gone from sixty million to twenty million dollars. Do we have nothing in this state who needs protection? Lets see, there is the Palo Verde Power plant, the Luke Air Force Base, fifth largest city, and one of the largest international airport. I guess they don’t count but I was once told that too. I happen to believe that they are all important and we need to our funding and if Kyl can’t get it done, have a nice vacation.

Our member in Congress has fail to watch our collective backs ;this is what I look for when I am deciding who I want to vote for.

Immigrating, he has been in Congress, voted for the last amnesty and his campaign has the nerve to attack Pederson. It’s really hard to believe When you go to the polls, you best understand that your collective butts are on the line and the future hang in the balance.

Now I know that a lot of what I write doesn’t make sense to many people but all I am trying to do is to inform voters. If you have any questions, my numberis 602-300-8851. Thank you.

Who was asking where William was?

Much of what you write doesn't make sense William, but not this time. I agree with you 100%. Kyl, like almost all of his Republican cohorts, exercise the height of hypocrasy in their actions, especially during election years. It's obvious to any one paying attention, but so many people are not.

Thanks for pointing out some of the outrageous ironies of this bad politician.

Why in the heck doesn't anyone ask Kyl why he isn't honoring is committment to the Gingrich "Contract with America" with term limits. Kyl would be opting out due to term limits in this election.

Just another example of a liar in office.

The last amnesty plan was passed in 1986 during the Reagan Presidency, two years before Kyl got into office.

Luke Air Force base is one of the reasons we don't need the extra 40 million dollars, we have a fully functional F-16 Base less than 30 miles from down town Phoenix. Their job it to protect us and Palo Verde amoungst other roles they would play in a time of an actual homeland security problem.

Keep in mind that in the event that there is an attack on Palo Verde we have Luke, Edwards, China Lake, Irwin and a few other bases within range of all their fire power to defend the nuclear plant. Back East they do not have in many cases the bases they once did because of the Bush/Clinton base closures that were going on during the 90's. We are lucky to still have total coverage out West. Anything that comes this wayt will most likely come from the sea, and have to pass over Vandenburg, Davis, Mogu or Huineme, or 29 Palms before getting to the ones I mentioned above. That's at least 10 bases or layers of protection between us and them. L.A., New York, San Fran, Seattle, Portland or San Diego have a much higher target status than Phoenix. We haev literally one solid target outside of down town and that's Palo Verde.

SO why do we need another 40 million in tax dollars? We had a billion dollar surplus in this state, why not spend a little of our money on the the things we still think we need? I'm sure we could pull 40 million out of that and not even miss it.
