Average American, your charity is heartening, if short-lived, and I regret telling AZ Moderate and Captain Marvel "I told you so", but, I told you so.

And, AA, I'm ecumenical enough to listen to KFYI -- most evenings, after 10pm. Talk of UFOs, SETI, the paranormal and supernatural events makes a lot more sense to me than the steady diet of political fiction offered to the faithful during the day.

Regarding your contribution to Voice of Arizona and your subsequent rant in Air America, the Conservative Slant, must I underscore that VoA does not advertise on KFYI because the station wanted to censor VoA's material? Is that the "Conservative Slant" you're referencing?

Don't even try to reconcile KFYI's censorship of VoA's advertisements with, "The same might be said of FOX news, but at least I give them credit for trying to get both sides of a story and letting you decide". Sorry to inform you that just because Faux News pounds you with "fair and balanced… you decide" doesn't make it so.

No, AA, your "slant" is really spin, whether masqueraded as conservative, religious right, NeoCon or Pro-Life and there's no consistency or philosophical political underpinning, save for "Support Whatever Bush Wants". Though I guess there is somehow a symmetry there with "fair and balanced" in your shifting slant…

Regarding your comments about "lower taxes, limited government, fiscal responsibility (hope I spelt it right this time)…" -- here's an excerpt from a Chinese website about yesterday's vote to raise the national debt ceiling to almost $9 TRILLION:

"U.S. Treasury Secretary John Snow hailed Thursday the approval by the Senate to raise the national debt limit by 781 billion dollars to nearly nine trillion dollars.

"I commend Congress for protecting the full faith and credit of the United States with today's action on the debt limit," Snow said in a statement. "This legislation ensures that the US can deliver on promises already made, such as Social Security and Medicare payments and aid for the victims of the 2005 hurricanes," he said.

"The Senate passed the bill by a 52-48 vote to raise the national debt limit from the current level of 8.184 trillion dollars.

"The bill now goes to President George W. Bush for his signature.

"The approval meant that the Bush administration would be able to pay for the war in Iraq and finance Medicare and other big federal programs without raising taxes.

"This was the fourth time that the national debt limit had been increased since Bush took office five years ago."

Regarding your comments on "true choice of life for the unborn, and the true to god desire to help people up instead of handing it out" -- I'd contend that anyone's attempt to legislate sectarian principles and impose anyone's religious tenets on the American public is flatout wrong, if not unconstitutional and treasonous.

You may follow whatever religious calling you hear. I'll follow mine. But you'd better have a more substantive reason than that siren's call for enacting a law!

Like your lie about U.S. Borax in another article, your "Slant" article contains far too may impressionistic untruths to even warrant addressing but it's telling that you blame Liberals for all the ills that Bush has visited on the United States, both at home and abroad. It's an easy transition from "Liberals are to blame" to "Liberals are the enemy", isn't it? Sure sounds like more of the mindless Hannity and Rush Kool-Aid that KFYI serves up.

It's even more heartening to think of you clinging to the gunnel, decks awash, AA, shouting John Paul Jones' famous dictum. Unfortunately, two-thirds of the crew has already bailed out and I think the remaining third must be braindead -- see Captain Marvel's article for details.
