I salute you orbiter for your insight!

We have two dogs in our family.  They are members of our family with the same love and care that the human members have.  In fact, my wife discovered while accumulating tax information that we spent more on one of the brothers’ medical care last year than we spent on our human care.  They are expensive.  They are respected as individuals.  They are very much loved.  We respect other species as gifts of Love from our creator. 

But Hitler loved Blondi, his German Shepard. 

Unlike Hitler, while we love our animals, we also love and respect our fellow human beings.  I for one see us as inseparably linked with one another and with the Earth’s animals in this journey through existence.  And of course it is intuitively obvious to the casual observer that we are encapsulated in our environment, and as our environment (which includes the sentient beings as well as the veggies) goes, so go we go.  

Now then, it is possible that I could be the next Hitler.  Very insightful of you.   We each and everyone have the potential in our humanity, although most would not be able to believe it of themselves.  

I am intrigued by war.  I hate war, but I am a serious student of war.  Why?  I don’t really know, but it has a very human attraction-repulsion grip on me.  I admire the soldier of honor.  I hate the destruction and terrible waste of human beings.  

I am intrigued by torture.  I hate it with a purple passion, but the subject is like war in its grip on me.  What the Hell is torture??  Why is it part of humanity?!?  (I think I will expound on that in a future aricle.)   These are questions that have plagued me for pretty much a lifetime.   

The Nazi atrocities were impossible for me to reconcile as I was growing up.  What could I do about it?  I wasn’t there.  I didn’t even exist for much of it.  But there were little ones like me that were being thrown into the Nazi ovens while I was too young to be aware; and as I grew old enough to become aware.  

It horrified and consumed me.

I eventually was lead to the understanding that the battle is not “over there” or “back when” , or even with "them" so much as it is within.  We each have the war within us between the two opposing sides of our human nature, and it is only there that we can do battle and are given the power to vanquish the evil. 

That understanding, the understanding that I could indeed deal directly with it, gave me the peace that I had been seeking.   And the focus to make war on that side of my humanity. 

It’s up to each of us to decide which side of the force we will stand with.   

I was extremely gratified at a later time to read that  the Sainted Mother Teresa had come to that same conclusion in her own journey.  She understood that she had a dark side, and it was only given to her to control that or succumb to it.  She controlled it, and became a beacon of hope for the world.  

I know the Hitlerian personae.  Not the propaganda version, but the real thing.  I know what to look for.  Hitler was not a mad man, although he gradually sunk into that raging condition.  We look for the wrong characteristics because we have not looked behind the picture of him that was painted by allied propaganda for war purposes.  That is our Achilles heel, especially here in dumbed down America.  

And I know myself.  Yes, I could be the next Hitler.  But I won’t be!  And I know him when I see him, and I will oppose him with everything I am, in the name of our Lord and the illuminated nature of Humanity.

You are truly a thing of few words, my friend.  I did not know that I "blow up the site with your hideous s*** like you used to".  Maybe it was because I was using the table function and the "other" browser couldn't handle it.  Do you use the "other" browser?   

At any rate, it never blew the site to my knowledge.  Thanks for the heads up, and I do apologize for blowing up the site.  

As for the format, I feel your pain when you write "i cant read it because it hurts my eyes to even glance at."  I considered that when I decided to format the article in that way.  The reason for that format is to reinforce the Nazi feel with the colors and stark boldness of the Third Riech.  

These for many were Hell, and I would think you would be comfortable with them , The Antichrist. 

Of course the Swastika is called the "hakenkruis", or broken cross.  Perhaps that is what hurt your eyes, even if it is broken?

From some of the comments your articles on torture have illicited, Bush and Cheney are not the only ones that don't get it.  

It is truly frightening that any person protected under our constitution would condone, or even wish for, torture as a government policy.  Unbelievable!
